25.01.2022 OMG this super easy and delicious treat will be ready in 2 minutes! And did I mention it's super HEALTHY! Keto Lemon Mug Cake ... Here's what you need: 2 tbsp. butter, melted, cooled 1 egg 1 tsp. grated lemon rind cup (25g) coconut flour 1 tbsp. ground almonds 2 tsp. xylitol tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. almond milk 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. Greek yogurt, to serve Here's what to do: Whisk together the melted, cool butter, egg and lemon rind in a small bowl. Add the flour, almond, xylitol, baking powder, milk and juice. Stir well to combine. Transfer the mixture into a 1 cup (240ml) sized heat proof mug and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove from the microwave and set aside for 30 seconds. Top with the coconut yogurt and serve immediately. See more

18.01.2022 SOUTHWEST CHICKEN SALAD WHAT YOU NEED: For the salad: ... 1lb. (450g) cooked, shredded chicken breast 1 cup (150g) sweet corn, canned 1 cup (170g) black beans, canned, drained, rinsed 1 small red onion, diced cup (4g) coriander, chopped 1 red bell pepper, diced For the dressing: cup (120g) Greek yogurt 1 lime, juiced tsp. ground cumin tsp. chili powder tsp. salt 2 tsp. sriracha WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Place the shredded chicken, sweet corn, black beans, red onion, fresh cilantro, and red pepper into a large bowl. Mix and set aside. Make the dressing by mixing all the dressing ingredients in a cup. Add dressing to the salad and mix until well combined.

17.01.2022 Quick tip to help you avoid the iffy sniff test when it comes to leftovers ... Make sure you label ALL of your leftovers and prepped food BEFORE you put them in the fridge or freezer! It doesn’t have to be a fancy label. A piece of masking tape and a magic marker will do the trick. Just write what’s inside the container and (most important of all) THE DATE.... Iknow we always THINK we will remember when we put that leftover stir-fry in the fridge, but too many times we don’t! There’s no point in doing meal prep ahead of time if you just end up throwing it out! Do you label everything before you put it in the fridge? Let me know below!

List three reasons: 1. It’s effective. It helps build strength on your internal core muscles...and there are so many variations! 2. It’s efficient. You can do a plank anywhere! 3. 16.01.2022 I’ve got a cravings buster tip for you today that is backed by research but you might get some funny looks if you do it in public! Here it is next time you get a craving, tap your forehead with your finger for about 30 seconds! According to researchers at Mount Sinai Hospital, doing this can make cravings less intense, plus it blurs the image of the food you’re craving in your mind!... Interesting right? Tapping your foot on the floor and tapping your ear also works, but not as well as tapping your forehead. Give it a try and see if it works for you!

15.01.2022 MYTH OR FACT Playing a video game can help stop a craving. . ... . . YES! Researchers found that playing a game of Tetris actually helped people overcome their cravings! Scientists think that playing the game distracted them long enough for cravings (which usually last just a short while) to pass. In a study published in the journal Appetite, college students who were having cravings either played a video game or waited for the computer to load. A quarter of the game players reported their cravings went away. Note: it doesn’t have to be Tetris, according to the researchers. It can be anything that requires focus and has plenty of eye-grabbing visuals! See more

Exercising during pregnancy not only has so many benefits for mum but also your baby and Carly is definitely evidence of that. I am feeling fantastic and like I can achieve anything at this point! I prefer to train early in the mornings at the moment as its sets my mood for the day, encourages me to make healthier eating choices and I start each day with more energy then if I choose to sleep in. 13.01.2022 When I am having an off day and not feeling motivated, I head down the beach for a walk or a ride either by myself or with my family. I find that if I accept the feeling and then be a little kinder to myself it helps me to refocus my mind and I always feel great afterwards. We all have our own reasons for wanting to feel strong, fit, and healthy. One of the keys to staying motivated is to find out exactly your personal whys.... Those reasons usually are deeper than we think they can involve our loved ones, confidence, self-esteem, wanting to fight off stress, and so much more. My why, is all always about being a great role model, not only to my children but also for my members and staff. We have helped hundreds of women become better versions of themselves. 12.01.2022 Do you ever feel extra-hungry after a hard workout? It’s actually pretty common. I know that some workouts like HIIT or Strength can do that to me. If I do not fuel my body soon after with great nutrition I find that I have cravings for the wrong things!... Plus, sometimes after a workout it’s tempting to think that we deserve it for working so hard! But the truth is, usually I’m craving quick energy (like carbs!) and get hungry for things that aren’t the best for reaching my goals. To stop all this before it starts, I have a post workout shake. It makes a HUGE difference! It’s just enough to keep me fuelled and also help me get better results from my workouts. 10.01.2022 IT’S TIME TO GET UP OUT OF THAT CHAIR!!!! Another study has linked sitting or lying down with heart disease specifically, heart failure. This study was taken from data of 81,000 women aged 50 to 79 who took part in the Women’s Health Initiative Study.... Women who sat or laid down for less than 4 hours a day were used as a baseline, and risk of being hospitalized for heart failure was calculated from there. Risk of heart failure hospitalization was 14% higher in those who sat/laid down between 4 and 8 hours a day The risk was 54% higher in those who sat/laid down for more than 8 hours a day. One shocker from the study: the risk stayed the same even among the women who were the most active and got suggested amounts of exercise (when they weren’t sitting or lying down). The takeaway: Make an effort to get up and MOVE. Set a reminder on your phone every hour to stand up and walk for a few minutes. Your heart will thank you for this! See more

Anne is 64years old and looks fantastic with a strong and healthy body and trains just as hard or harder than a lot of the younger women in the gym and is such an inspiration to so many of us. Her daughter Nicole is 40 years old with 2 beautiful daughters and dare I say Nicole looks Hot - her muscular and lean frame (previously a dancer) is the envy of many in the gym.
