24.01.2022 #Sex and #Intimacy are not the same. Sometimes we can get muddled up about this.To create true #intimacy requires #truth,#trust and #safety. When you know you can tell someone about your #trueself, not be judged and know this is just between you both, this is #Intimacy. Real intimacy helps create awesome moments, which in turn can create awesome sexual connections.



24.01.2022 Do we require tools to assist us at the moment to manage our lives? Maybe, maybe not. Tools assist some folk and they are a very useful aspect to help regulate ...relationship/s, and ourselves. Tools are one component for ones life whether that be currently, long term or temporary. Food for thought - We are our best barometers for ourselves to gauge how we are feeling, not feeling, stressing, experiencing loss of interest in sex, or passions for life and love have been and are being tested. It is recommended to give yourself permission to sit with you and ask yourself to take time to nurture yourself with love, compassion and hope. Dont push yourselves, allow yourselves to feel & be mindful to what you are feeling. By doing this we are actually slowing down our nervous system and our adrenal responses to many a negative, happy, sad or lonely thought. Then when we are able to make clearer decisions after giving yourself this time, we are able to gain insights to assist us to move forward or stay still for any amount of time you need to regroup, realign and manage life as it currently is and will be. One skill here is learning to be present and caring to you. Then the flow on effect is evident to you and those around you.

16.01.2022 Communication and how we manage this is crucial at the moment. Whether with your significant other, family, kids, friends or work colleagues, we are all in some sort of isolation for long periods of time. Remembering to be mindful and present when communicating. When we become avoidant either by body language or anger, for example eye rolling, looking away, looking at your computer, yelling, blaming or frustrated, this can create agitation within oneself and the other/s it i...s being directed at. Once spoken it is out there, and can create more frustrations and resentment. Take the time to calm your nervous system before you want to breach certain topics that might seem by the other, as irrational or not necessarily relevant. I know it is difficult with home schooling, confined spaces, and working from home all thrown into the mix at the moment. By taking this 5 mins of time to be more centered and present beforehand will alleviate the anxiety and frustration you are feeling in the moment and to not say things we wish we hadnt.
