14.01.2022 As much as we might try to take rejection in our stride, our brains may not be on board. Relationships Australia WA counsellor Fiona Bennett said this was because of the way our brain reacted when we experienced an emotional reaction. Ms Bennett said while the hurt might feel overwhelming "we are in control of the way we deal with rejection and it is a skill you can learn at any age".
