25.01.2022 NAIDOC Week starts this Sunday, with the NAIDOC Week Opening Ceremony at Supreme Court Gardens. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. This year's theme is "leading by example", which Will will explore through his experiences as a Dad, a team player, a mentor and role model. 25.01.2022 The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the sad reality that for many people home is not a safe place, and too many people are still living with family and domestic violence (FDV). It’s a message that will be the focal point of the 2020 Midland March That Matters (MMTM) this Thursday. The annual march is one of WA’s biggest domestic violence awareness events and up to 500 members of the public will join together to take a stand against domestic violence. 22.01.2022 The Midland March That Matters is today! Join us to take a stand against domestic violence and help us spread the message that there ‘is no excuse for abuse’. Participants in the march will carry banners and proceed along The Crescent to Great Eastern Highway before congregating at Juniper Gardens to hear from guest speakers. The march will be led by the WA Police Pipe Band and the event will include guest performances.

09.01.2022 Did you know that headspace Busselton has moved? You can find them at 7 Harris Road, Busselton. The new, larger premises will mean more local young people can access the support they need. It will provide more headspace clinicians and also includes a fully equipped GP room where young people can receive support for their physical health and with mental health care plans. Since opening in 2018, headspace Busselton has been enthusiastically welcomed by local young people and the wider community, supporting close to 300 young people in the area through more than 1,500 sessions.
