18.01.2022 CLEAN PULLS The clean pull is a simple but important exercise for training the extension of the clean in terms of strength, speed, power, posture and balance. Lifters will be able to manage heavier weights than in the clean, which allows the development of strength which leads to heavier weights being moved in the clean. The clean pull can also be used as a remedial exercise to practice balance and position in the pull, or as part of a learning progression for the ...clean. Proper technique involves pushing through the ground to get tall, brushing the hips. You do not want to bang the bar off your hips as this moves the weight away from the centre of your body leading to bad clean technique. The goal is to keep the bar path as straight as possible, keeping the shoulders slightly over the bar to avoid hitting the bar out in front of the body.

There are two types - a macros/ calorie plan and a foundational plan. Below is a photo of the foundational plan. It is quite simple to follow and you would use other resources I provide you with to follow along with the portion sizes. How to follow: Every day you tick off your write how many servings of each food group you eat. Your goal is to hit the total of the servings each day. Along with drinking 2 L of water minimum a day. I will print this off and give you a copy every week with and changes needed Simple right? Exercise and nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated. The media and people in the industry make you think that it is to give them more revenue. KEEP IT SIMPLE Message me if you want any help with your eating. I also don’t believe in diets... diets are temporary, developing healthy eating habits are forever. Get in touch *all nutrition information is following the Australian guidelines as I am a personal trainer not a nutritionist. Other PTs who offer specific meal plans are not following our scope of practice. If you need more guidance you should seek help from a nutritionist or dietitian.
