19.01.2022 I’ve stopped working to care for Declan full-time. Our plan includes enjoying the moment, making efforts even when it’s hard and creating memorable experiences. his brain stops registering the pain soon!

19.01.2022 Thank you soooo much to our team of people who continue to look after Declan. He was is horrid pain on the weekend. He really couldn’t move... feeling about. 9/10. Last night after amazing treatment this week by Nicki Cooke at IC Sports therapies. And also hyperbaric treatment from Pinnacle Health he was laughing and playing games with friends! Oh the joy to hear him laugh.

18.01.2022 Dex and I want to say a HUGE thank you to all who have supported us in 2019. I’ve got to say 2019 has been on of the most challenging of our lives. It has also been a year where we really found out how loved we are. Family, friends, God, church family, strangers. So many many people. Thank you, thank you thank you. We are looking forward to 2020!

13.01.2022 I haven’t done a post for awhile. The past few weeks have been particularly painful. So our amazing team have suggested 2 weeks intensive treatment including some alternative therapies. Declan is a hyperbaric oxygen tank. I get to relax up in the salt room (nice!!). Thanks ICSportTherapies & Bourke St Clinic & Pinnacle Health Clinic.

11.01.2022 Today we were given a device that produces Kangen water (changes the Ph). This could help reduce Dex’s pain. I’ll keep you all posted it it works for him. So far he says it’s good. Thank you Angelika for your generosity. Thank you Leeanne for telling people everywhere about Dex

11.01.2022 Someone looooves his new handmade weighted quilt!!!

07.01.2022 We have completed 2 weeks of intensive therapies. A big thank you to all the clinics. We are starting to see a small reduction in pain. We are now doing another 2 weeks. That’s 4-5 appointments a week (1 a day). Its tiring but worth it to see glimpses of my cheeky son back. Also aiming to get to a bit of school this week too.
