14.01.2022 Finally got a purpose for the pure silk samples I’ve been hoarding- they are the perfect size to become triple layered washable masks!

10.01.2022 Things are pretty quiet here at Remaki: I am back at my "real job" in public health - it's a busy time as you can imagine! But since I have the skills and experience to contribute to the COVID-19 response, I think I also have a responsibility to do so. It sure isn't as fun as making new cool stuff from old cool stuff. But then, not much is in my experience :-) Stay well everyone xx

07.01.2022 Miss 7 in her new dress and a top for a friend, made from a second hand doona cover. My guess is someone donated it because there was a tiny biro mark. I just won’t use that bit. I’ve got enough left over for a dress for me but mummy-daughter matching makes me feel a bit ill. Maybe a skirt with nice big pockets?
