18.01.2022 Dogs are social animals and when they leave their siblings they have the skills needed to be accepted into the world of dogs. Sadly one dog household can cause a dog to lose it's knowledge of canine behaviour and body language. Come for a puppy or dog socialisation session at Remarkable Behaviour in the lovely Adelaide Hills near Macclesfield. Your dog or puppy will have a wonderful time running free and playing. Sessions are conducted by Ruth Bell a Behavioural Scientist wi...th years of dog behavioural experience. Guidelines will be given to teach your dog good social manners in a fun relaxed setting. You will learn how to read your dogs behaviour and when to redirect it. Get your friends and dogs together and come for a fun time. Remarkable Behaviour can set up a socialisation session with well-mannered sociable dogs for you; if you do not know any other dogs. See more

15.01.2022 It is almost spring and soon the snakes will begin to come out hungry but still a bit slow. Every year hundereds of dogs and cats are bitten by venemous snakes in Australia. To prevent your beloved pet being a victim caome to Remarkable Behaviours Snake Aversion Classes to teach your dog that snakes will hurt them if they get too close. Remarkable Behaviour will use scientifically proven methods to teach your dog to aoid snakes when they encounter them.

09.01.2022 If your dog or cat encounters a snake it commonly means the dog/cat will get bitten by the snake when it approaches it. Snake bites don't hurt and the dog orcat learns nothing from the encounter. Sadly the after effects of the bite come too late for them to connect the two experiences. South Australia has several venomous snakes the Brown snake is particularly venomous and highly likely to strike and bite if disturbed. Snake bite anti-venom treatment is very expensive; each v...ial costs up to $1000 along with the blood screens needed to determine if the bite has been severe. Come and teach your dog (or cat at your home) that snakes hurt and should be avoided. Session begin at Remarkable Behaviour on September 14th 2013. If the snakes and lizards are getting active in your district earlier than this I am happy to do a private or group session in your local area. Supplejack the brown unpatterned python will be used to teach your dog or cat to avoid snakes. See more
