24.01.2022 Help us increase awareness of Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema (BCRL). It represents a major source of morbidity among breast cancer survivors and can occur years after the procedure. #Lymphedema #awareness

22.01.2022 Wow this is so interesting for those suffering with eczema.

21.01.2022 Covid 19 Update On advice from NSW Health I will be implementing the wearing of face masks into my clinic. If you do not have one available to wear during your treatment there will be disposable ones available. ... Please be mindful if you have travelled to Melbourne, Sydney or other COVID -19 recognised hotspots and have symptoms and have had contact with a person with COVID -19 you will need to advise and review your appointment time. The clinic will remain open and continue to practice strict hygiene to ensure the safety and welfare of myself, clients and the wider community. Thank you for your understanding. Please take care and I look forward to seeing you.

20.01.2022 Some days that's all you need. A spinkle of kindness goes a long way.

20.01.2022 March is Lymphoedema Awareness Month. Like, comment on or share our posts to raise awareness! Fact 29: Lymphatic System Function The lymphatic system is our b...ody’s ‘sewerage system’. It maintains fluid levels in our body tissues by removing all fluids that leak out of our blood vessels. The lymphatic system is important for the optimal functioning of our general and specific immune responses. The lymph nodes monitor the lymph flowing into them and produce cells and antibodies which protect our body from infection and disease. The spleen and thymus are lymphatic organs that monitor the blood and detect and respond to pathogens and malignant cells. The lymphatic system plays an important role in the absorption of fats from the intestine. When the lymphatic system is not formed well or has been damaged by surgery, radiotherapy or tissue damage, a swelling of a part of the body may occur (most commonly the legs or arms). When this swelling lasts more than about three months it is called lymphoedema. When it’s not functioning well the lymphatic system may have a role in obesity, Crohn’s disease and other disorders. #LymphoedemaAwareness #LSGSA #LymphoedemaSupport #LymphoedemaEmpowerment #LymphaticAnatomy #LymphaticSystem Ref: Better Health Channel Website Fact Sheet - Lymphatic System https://www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au//Cond/lymphatic-system
