21.01.2022 This is an excellent video to learn some simple exercises and stretches which can be done every day to help improve posture. Highly recommend Jeremy Ethier - he delivers practical, easy to follow advice and he's actually done the research to quote research and case studies! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYr6lbx68n8... 18.01.2022 Hi, I’m Adriahn. I’m a remedial massage therapist. I help people to work on their muscle and joint issues to: -Reduce pain -Improve joint range of motion... -Improve joint stability -Improve muscle activation I became really interested in physical rehabilitation and personal development after a motorbike accident in 2011. I started studying massage in 2013 mostly so I could learn about my own body, and meet people to do massage swaps with. Turns out that was the best decision I’ve ever made because I love what I do and I found my passion and purpose in helping people. I will add more to this page over time, this is really just a placeholder so people who haven’t met me yet can see my face and learn a bit about me :P Qualifications / Experience: 2013 - Cert IV Massage Therapy (Sage Institute, VIC) 2015 - Diploma Remedial Massage (RMIT University, VIC) 2017 - 2019 - Bachelor of Physiotherapy - Y1 & Y2 - (Curtin, WA) 2014 - Myofascial Release (Stephen Goldstein, VIC) 2014 - Traditional Thai Massage (Sunshine Massage School, Thailand) 2018 - Introductory Dry Needling (Shaun Brewster) 2018 - Functional Release Cupping (Shaun Brewster) 2018 - Advanced Joint Mobilisations (Shaun Brewster) 2018 - Advanced Dry Needling of Neck, Shoulders, Back, Pelvis (Shaun Brewster) Credit to Abbey Madison Photography for the photos

18.01.2022 Are you ready to prioritise some self care this week :) ? I offer Remedial Massage, although it's are starting to deviate into two main session types: 1: More 'fix-y'... If you have an injury or physical issue that you would like worked on specifically, plus general releasing muscle tension from all major muscles, primarily focus on releasing the joints/attachments using firmer techniques or 2: More 'relax-y' Flowy, long strokes, more oil based, working with the breath to relax into a deep parasympathetic/rest and digest state releasing muscle tension through learning to relax individual muscles through tensing and relaxing with the breath Bookings available: Wednesday 25/11: 11.30am, 1.00pm, 2.30pm Friday 27/11: 11.30am, 1.00pm, 2.30pm

07.01.2022 Just finished Stick Mobility instructor course @ mind body heart studio in Wembley :D Coming soon: - stick mobility classes - 1 on 1 stick mobility incorporated into Remedial treatment sessions

05.01.2022 I made a website :D !!! https://adriahnfrank87.wixsite.com/remedialaf It's super basic, and probably a bit buggy. If you click the 'book online now' button, I can't guarantee that your computer won't explode.... (sending me a text message is still the best way to book an appointment :P) Adriahn Frank

02.01.2022 Are you dealing with physical/ musculoskeletal pain or stiffness? Or do you have an injury which is holding you back that you would like to rehabilitate? Are you wanting to improve something about your body: physical health, strength, mobility, weight loss, improving energy levels, decreasing stress etc?... ...and do you find that most exercise classes or "6 week transformation programs" push you too hard or require too much of a commitment and you end up burning yourself out? I've been there :) My approach is encouraging small incremental lifestyle change, getting a variety of treatment sessions and NOT pushing myself too hard. So with that being said, Here is my offering: A 90min session for $150 consisting of: 30mins of movement assessment, learning functional rehab exercises, stretches, creating and updating a simple weekly program (as little as 10mins a day, 3-5x per week) And 60mins bodywork: including remedial and relaxation massage techniques, joint mobilisations, passive stretching, optional dry needling, optional cupping Send me a message if you would like to find out more. Sessions available Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays :D Cheers, Adriahn Frank Diploma of Remedial Massage Dry needling Joint mobilisations Myofascial release Traditional Thai Massage Stick Mobility instructor Physiotherapy student
