25.01.2022 High Performance Remedial Massage and Myotherapy will now be providing online consultations for customers who are in self isolation, quarantine, working from home or simply cannot make it into the clinic. Please note for the meantime myotherapy and remedial massage treatments in the office are still available. Online consultations can help people self manage their pain with advice given on exercises and stretches that can be done at home. Also self treatment techniques will ...be given. If additional products are needed to help self treat we will be able to let you know where you can get them from. With more and more people working at home High Performance Remedial Massage and Myotherapy is expecting more and more people to suffer from back and neck pain from poor computer setups and poor posture. I can go through a full computer setup and posture exercises via video chat on messenger, Skype, FaceTime and possibly other media devices. I can also arrange this for businesses who have asked their employees to work from home durring this difficult time. Please see previous Google or Facebook reviews on previous clients raving about the advice I have given them in the past. Most consultations will only take 30 minutes.

23.01.2022 What is the most common mistake that I see people make when they come in for treatment? Well the answer is simple. People delaying getting professional treatment and professional advice for way too long in hope thier pain will just go away. Why is this a big problem? Well whatever the cause of the problem hasnt been resolved and therefore your problem will manifest into a bigger issue and is more difficult to treat. This therefore costing the client more in ongoing treatmen...t. An example of this is someone with right knee pain can manifest into right knee pain with associated hip pain and lower back pain that then cause further issues like sciatica if also left untreated. So why wait and hope it will just go away? Would you not take your car to a mechanic if it was making a nosie or a warning light was on in the dash board? Aches and pains in the body is our bodies way of saying something is wrong, fix it now otherwise it may get worse and the body will cause you so much pain that you have no choice but to do something about it. Unfortunately by then your problem which could have been an easy fix is now a complex problem with multiple issues.

20.01.2022 Hi all please SHARE this as there will be quite a confusion if I am still open or not. The government tonight announced that many more business need to close including massage. But then mentioned health related services such a physiotherapist will stay open. As I am a myotherapist and we treat injuries so Myotherapists will still stay open. Unfortunately relaxation massage and unqualified massage therapists that are usually seen in shopping centres will need to close as of t...omorrow night (25/3/2020) Please note that clinic has updated all hygiene procedures and even got a air purifier in the room to help with sanitation. Please note I am also offering online consultations for those in self isolation or just cant come into the clinic. Please see my previous post for further details on this. Obviously we are in tough times, but Im in the fortunate position where my work still has the ability to help for now. So if you are in pain and need some help please contact us sooner rather than later, because if we do go into full lock down then there may not be a chance for you to get treatment then. Take care.

16.01.2022 Unfortunately yesterday all Myotherapist and Remedial Massage therapists in Victoria have been told to SHUT THEIR DOORS as we are seen as an non-essential service. This was not put on the news but told to us through our Association. Although I completely disagree with this decision and so do many of my clients that rely on our services to help them complete their work, I really cant do anything about this besides offer online video services which still will be extremely ...valuable for clients, especially new clients. If you read my reviews many people mention the advice that I have given them and I believe that a lot of the time the advice that I give is equally as important as the treatment itself. This is because if you are doing something incorrectly and over using particular muscles or joints unless you change what you are doing your problem is going to continue to come back even if you do receive treatment. Online consultations will also go through stretches, exercises and self treatment techniques that you can do in the comfort of your own home. I would like to thank all my clients for their support during this time and look forward to hopefully seeing them back in the clinic soon.

08.01.2022 Sarah and I would like to welcome to the world Violet Rose De Bono born at 1:51 a.m. on the 21st of July 2019 which was her due date. Mum and bub are doing fantastic. Violet is 3.655 kilos (8.057 lbs) and 50 cm long. I will return to work on August the 5th.

They dont know what it is to fight or to have a loved who leads a battle against dementia/Alzheimers. 01.01.2022 Hi all, Sorry I should have put this up over a week ago but I was hoping the government would have realised we are essential to many people and changed the decision. Unfortunately after receiving clarification on what stage 4 restrictions means for Remedial Massage and Myotherapy we have been restricted to telehealth only after receiving an email from our Association.... Hopefully like what happened in stage 3 restrictions, they will change their decision on this. But for now unfortunately it seems like I will need to close my doors but will be offering telehealth for anyone who needs any advice with their conditions. These will be 30 minutes. Please let me know if you would like to convert your appointment to a telehealth appointment to receive advice on your condition including, but not limited to; stretches, exercises, self treatment tools and tips on how to prevent your discomfort from coming on. Please note unfortunately telehealth appointments are not claimable through private health insurance. As it stands I will reopen on the 17th of September. I highly recommend you reschedule your appointment as when I reopened I expect to be extremely busy for the first two to three weeks. Take care.
