28.12.2021 Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (aka TMJ dysfunction, TMD, TMJ syndrome) stands for pain and compromised movement of the jaw joint and the surrounding muscles. The TMJ acts like a sliding hinge, connecting your jawbone to your skull.
