15.05.2022 It was such a nice surprise to find Collaborations: The Cinema of Zhang Yimou and Gong Li, the Blu-ray collection we authored, claim the position of #1 boxset in DVD Beaver's rundown of 2021's best releases. http://www.dvdbeaver.com/2021_blu-ray_4K_UHD_of_the_year.htm Obviously a lot of work went into the release, not just from us but from the small army of collaborators who must come together for a short time to bring a significant release like this to fruition: the team at ...Via Vision, the content providers, the graphic designers, the supplementary feature contributors both on screen and behind the scenes, the subtitlers who checked every line of dialogue and offered new translations to enhance the substance and comprehension of the films for non-Mandarin speaking audiences, the AV testers, and let's not forget the packaging manufacturers and disc replicators who continue to underpin and support our industry despite enduring more than a decade of decline in physical media sales. And of course it would all be for nought without the freight providers, wholesalers and retailers who get the final product into the hands of customers. Finally, thanks to the voters who've celebrated this release and to the fans who've enjoyed it. We do try to read all your reviews, forum posts and social media comments and appreciate all that you have contributed. It's so great to hear that many of you have discovered these works for the first time through this collection. Hopefully we can play our part to share more like it with you again in the not too distant future.

11.05.2022 We do love all the Imprints, but we're really excited for this one.

05.05.2022 A bit late, but these photo album collages take quite a while to compile and as you may gather from this one we've been pretty busy! We fully authored over 350 discs in 2020, most of them, of course, while working from home. Just a shade under 25% were blu-rays, with the launch and blossoming of the Imprint line a particularly satisfying highlight of our studio work. Likewise the Parasite 4K Ultra HD blu-ray release, a first for us with the format and we hope to do more like ...it again soon, perhaps in the not too distant future... 16.04.2022 We're extremely pleased to be the authoring house associated with these beautifully packaged premium blu-ray releases from Imprint / Via Vision (with more on the way). "...for the vast majority of the film, the image quality is excellent. It represent the 3-strip Technicolor very decently. The image is clean, with depth - colors have a very appealing richness. Grain textures are there but not prominent and I don't see the image has any undue gloss. It was a very pleasant surprise... this has plenty of value - solid a/v and the addition of the new fun-filled commentary. 10.04.2022 We remain strong advocates and supporters of physical media home video releases and hope fans will continue to appreciate the advantages of optical disc formats in parallel with the conveniences of digital. Since taking over the business at the start of 2019, we've fully authored circa 250 discs, about 20% of them blu-ray. Here's a sample of what we've been up to. Which have you seen?
