25.01.2022 There’s a famous saying When life gives you lemons, make lemonade This week I’m gunna be making A LOT of lemonade! Many of us have challenges and obstacles that we must overcome and see the positive in. Two sick kids, three businesses in urgent need of my time, Junior sport juggle, driving 90km for daycare, oh and wait, lets throw in your Sons assembly, a car service and a catering gig too!... Things to be thankful for- Its only a 24 hours bug, could be a lot worse. I have the ability to work from home. Thankful that our kids enjoy sport. We have some amazing friends who have offered to have our kids so we don’t have to make the 90km round trip to daycare. Who doesn’t love a robot themed assembly? At the end of all this madness, we finally get to meet a precious new baby girl, our friends make the most adorable kiddies! You can only do what you can do. My kids are my world and everything comes after that. I promised myself and my family I would be taking a break from RS whilst we enjoy our family holiday in sunny Broome. The struggle is real, I feel overwhelmed and off track especially being a new business. However, when I know I have a to-do list to help me dive back into work when I r...eturn, I know I can shut off and keep this promise to myself and my family. It’s important especially as we approach school holidays, to push work aside, be present, go see a new movie at the cinema, go to the park and fly a kite, go to a twilight market, or let your kids choose what activity you do, those to-do lists will be there when you return- promise! I know for me it was a struggle to not see people during WA's period of "lockdown" but as soon as we could I was socialising again, meeting up with friends is just something I LOVE to do But... 11.01.2022 ~The Worry Bowl~ As you all know our first workshop was Sound Meditation. The afternoon consisted of lots of small moments that built together to create something beautiful. The worry bowl was one of them. Each lady had their aura cleansed, afterwards they each took their candle to the worry bowl station, wrote their worry down, and put it in the bowl, leaving their candle, and their worry behind.... After the session Rackel took the bowl home to burn each worry away. This practice alone can give you the feeling that you are letting go of something you have been holding on to. You don't need a sound meditation to do this.
