23.01.2022 Nightfall at the Ramp Sea Eagle Lagoon as the night comes in. A Bokeh Panorama of 20 odd images.

23.01.2022 The attached image from last night was made up of many images (8 to 10.) All 30 second exposures (taken on a sturdy Tripod) and then stacked on top of each other (all except base layer in lighten blend mode) Then I blended in via layers and mask what areas from each image I wanted, as they were all light painted with a torch from various angles. I picked a tree out of one image then water from another and so on. On the bottom layer I have a master which I used for the base, i...t was about a 2 minute exposure with no torch painting. Lastly I added a few textures and masked them into dark and light areas with a some luminosity masks. The overall look I was after was quite painterly but still retaining realism. I was quite pleased with how it turned out. See more

18.01.2022 I was feeling a bit inspired to get out and do some images last night. I thought the stars would be good but unfortunately the clouds got in the way. Plan B was to do some light painting.
