13.05.2022 So, I made a thing. A two piece outfit for this beautiful lady (Bea) to wear to her engagement/30th birthday party next weekend Seeing Bea twirl and laugh and smile while wearing the dress was so fulfilling My heart is full of gratitude to be able to make like this

03.05.2022 I don’t know why I couldn’t share my Instagram story to this Facebook story.. but here is a little update of what I have been up to today ..

01.05.2022 My home sewing side hustle business is now the only thing I am doing while I am on semester break.. It is actually so fulfilling to serve the community in this way and I am blown away by the number of customers I have had purely from word of mouth! Thank you, thank you, thank you! With each customer I am learning so much and the small amount of cash is helping me to keep the dream alive. Please keep tagging me in posts on FB for people who are needing alterations or repairs and refer me to your friends and family for design work, alterations, repairs and general sewing things. Or, reach out to me if you have sewing needs of your own. So much appreciation and all the love . #smallbusiness #goldcoastbusiness #goldcoastsewing #sewingandalterations

25.04.2022 My latest creation! A fully lined jacket. It was a really fun challenge to make! Because I am extra , I embroidered all of the inside lining with eyes on my home sewing machine and made the pattern for the jacket from scratch. The pockets were the most technical and do something sneaky too (swipe to see ). I created the digital embroidery file for the pockets and made that on my home sewing machine as well. The eyelashes are removable and the eyes are pockets that can be... hidden if I want or can be snapped open for everyone to see (so I can choose how much of my sillys I want to let out ). I’m thinking about creating some videos to teach people how I did the things. This would also help me to solidify all the learnings. Would anyone be interested to see that? . . : @formfakktor . #imadethis #manifestinggenerator #quirkyfashion #petite #petitegirl #petitefashion @tafeqld #modularfashion #extra #maximalism #quirky #dyttype1 #digitalembroidery #brisbanefashion #brisbanefashiondesigner #goldcoastdesigner #fashionstudent #slowfashion #fuckfastfashion See more

15.04.2022 So.. This is what happiness looks like These are an old pair of my boots. I have had them for 2.5 years. I love them but the suede is wearing due to insane amounts of exposure so I got another pair but I was sad to see these beautiful, comfy boots sitting around with no love! So.. I bedazzled them I thought they would be too much and I would maybe just make them into an ornament but actually, they are fantastic and I love them so much more and definitely plan to wear them!! Thanks @imakestagram for the inspo! Now I want to bedazzle all of the things! . #upcycle #imadethis #dressingyourtruthtype1 #dyttype1 #slowfashion #mending #madeyousmile #ankleboots #sparklyboots

11.04.2022 Um... yes! I’ve heard that the things you loved to do as a child should provide some light on what you should do as an adult. What did you love? Are you still doing those things? Thanks to @mellow.doodles #repost

26.03.2022 I don't know why I still see people wearing "disposable" masks.. It's so bad for the environment and completely unnecessary. I am not sure how to get my hands on a hemp mask, but at the very least, find a fabric one! Or message me and I'll make you one for $15 or you can buy some from Love Thy Earth (I'll share a link in the comments). It'll save you money as you can wash them to keep wearing, they look much cuter but also, the environment... https://fb.watch/2-c9LWEILD/

15.03.2022 So it’s sitting a little wonky on my face but.. I made this mask to wear in Brisbane today as lockdown was lifted yesterday at 6pm and mandatory masks remain til the 22nd of Jan. Living on the Gold Coast I have really been so lucky to be kind of sheltered from a lot of the Covid stuff but driving into Brisbane last night to visit my beloved felt really weird and this is so minor really. I can only imagine what the rest of the world have been going through!! Hope you are all able to keep your vibe up despite the fear surrounding the virus and have found ways to #spreadlove rather than fear . PS this gorgeous print was designed by @jocelynproustdesigns available @spotlightstores

07.03.2022 Bought some men’s shorts from the Op Shop. Turns out I’m a 28 waist But.. they sat in my wardrobe for about a year. I decided it’s because they were a little long so today I shortened them Much happier with them now and will definitely wear them

25.02.2022 Fun #shortalls I #opped recently. They were too short but I let down the hem and now I them! Posted just in time for #thriftythursday . . #denim #denimshortalls #denimoveralls #petite #petitestyle #petitefashion #ootd #outfitoftheday #outfitoftheyesterday #dyttype1
