23.01.2022 I’ve been staring at this pic on my screen. It’s so gorgeous and I feel like I should write something beautiful...But reality is I’m thinking about loved ones who have just lost yet another brother to suicide. Abandoned by a system that doesn’t care. He should still be here. I’ve been looking at this little face, into those beautiful deep eyes, and thinking I hope you stay safe as you grow. That you are strong and say no to anyone who tries to take advantage of your innocen...ce. That you turn your back on substances that make you feel numb and empty and suck the life out of you. That you feel supported and you live out your life feeling connected to who you are and where you come from. Too many sad stories. We need to do better. This little face holds all the reasons why.
