07.05.2022 So I don't forget to post these tomorrow. I would like to wish all my daycare mums a very Happy Mother's Day, may your sweet babies spoil you and shower you with love. (And for the mumma's who's babies have been sick, I will be sure to snap a photo of your sweet little ones when they return to daycare. Happy Mother's Day to you all.

21.04.2022 To all my little friends who have been away unwell I do hope that you all start feeling better and are back at daycare very soon, you are all very much missed. Here are photos from the past few weeks that I have been meaning to put up.

03.04.2022 Once again I wish all my little friends a speedy recovery. With the majority of my little friends away sick at the moment and all with very similar symptoms that seem to be highly contagious, I am asking that all children stay home until they are feeling better, and are able to keep up with the pace of daycare, as much as i love all my little friends, the truth is they don't want to be with me or at daycare when they are feeling unwell. So I wish them all a quick recovery and look forward to seeing everyone back when they are back to their busy happy little selves.

21.02.2022 Well I am feeling rather loved this morning, whoever you are that nominated me in this years Excellence in Family Day Care Awards thank you. Sometimes as an educator I find times I feel like maybe I don't do enough, but the smiles on my little friends faces tells me maybe I am. I love my job and all my little friends and their families and I am truly blessed to be in the role that I am in caring for your little people. Clearly I'm doing something right so a massive thank you. 29.01.2022 Not many photos this week with lots of my little friends away unwell. But Easter is everywhere at daycare, and I look forward to seeing all my friends back next week, as we will also be welcoming a new little friend to Renae's Family Daycare.

21.01.2022 A few hours cleaning and moving stuff around and we are all ready for a new week at daycare..

21.01.2022 We are so close to reaching our goal. Can you help us reach it. The children have loved getting cosy in our reading area and listening to all the new books, with only 5 days of August left we still have time to reach a $500 donation to the MS foundation. 20.01.2022 YAY our street library is in.

20.01.2022 Wednesday and Thursday were some fun filled days, we pasted and painted circles and played in sand with things that were round, we did Rectangles on Thursday with painting and pasting we also did mat time and did some games learning our shapes, we played in the cupboard which the boys thought was hilarious, we shopped and played with our shape toys and had some story time with Ruby.

20.01.2022 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at daycare, it's my favourite time of the year and after the rough year we have all had we are starting Christmas a little early this year.

19.01.2022 Today the children decorated and undecorated the tree several times, we did some Christmas paintings and met one of the new baby guinea pigs that was born this morning. We also had a visit from Heather one of the Bambini Field officers.

19.01.2022 I've been a bit slack these past few weeks with posting all the fun things your little ones have gotten up to. So here are a bunch of photos of the past two weeks.

19.01.2022 We are currently sitting at $428.72 in our MS Readathon. We have read 33 books so far and we still have 5 more daycare days where will be adding more books to this total. If you would like to help us reach our goal of $500 all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

18.01.2022 This week we just played, the children lead the week by playing with things that sparked their interests. A lovely lady dropped by and donated some hand puppets that were a hit, they played with blocks, played musical instruments, made a cubby, we danced and sang, we played outside, we did drawings and read stories, just another fun and busy week at daycare.

18.01.2022 Our street library is almost complete, tomorrow it will be mounted on its post and positioned in my front yard for everyone to share. I cant wait to fill it with books and then go on walks with the daycare kids to put flyers in the neighbourhood letterboxes so everyone can get involved.

17.01.2022 One of my amazing families have been going above and beyond to help an elderly lady who sadly has been living in conditions that no human should have to live in. I had the pleasure of meeting Jude and she is a lovely lady, sadly she has no immediate family and one of my daycare mums and all her family have been working around the clock to help her quality of life improve. If you are able to help this cause it would be so truly appreciated. Thank you so much.

16.01.2022 Some of you may remember last year we collected food items for Love in Action that were then made in to Hampers and given to families who are doing it a bit tough at the moment. This year has been extremely hard for so many for a large number of reasons and if there is a way to help others then I'm all for it. So if you are thinking of doing a pantry clean out or can pick up a couple of extra items during your next shop and drop them in the donation basket at the front door it would be so appreciated. 16.01.2022 After a busy week with books going and new books arriving I've just done a tidy up swaped out what was in there and added new things, put in more bottles of hand sanitiser, loads of Peppa pig books and a whole set of baby board books, as well as a couple of special things to find. Drop by and take a book

16.01.2022 With our MS readathon starting next week I've set up a nice cosy place for the children to sit and look at books and for us to read our books at story time. It's also a great place for the children to go to chill out or get away from the businesses of the room and just relax.

15.01.2022 Yesterday the children and I made some yummy vanilla cupcakes. They all took turns pouring in the different ingredients, mixing up the batter and putting the cupcake cases in the tray, we made the mixture orange which they all thought was funny. And at the end of the day they all took home the yummy cupcakes that they made.

14.01.2022 Last week we finished our number topic, we played little people, made necklaces with coloured cotton reels, we painted and pasted, we played in the boxes (the children thought this was so funny) we read stories, danced, sang to the wiggles. It was a fun week.

11.01.2022 Today is Early Childhood Educators Day. So many of us early childhood educators have had one of the toughest years this year, however through it all we have continued to greet out families everyday with a smile and a loving, caring environment for your children. So to all my fellow Early Childhood educators, well done to you, you are all amazing. And to myself I say Happy Early Childhood Educator day to me.

10.01.2022 Last Thursday we had a music session with Natasha from Bambini, she called up via video chat and the children sang and danced and then finished off with a couple of stories. Everyone had fun and were ready for a rest and something to eat afterwards.

09.01.2022 Some fun with Christmas headbands today, we also painted and pasted and read the Christmas jolly postman story.

08.01.2022 Well it looks like I got camera happy this week. We all had loads of fun and were very busy. This week learnt our numbers 1-4 with counting games and painting and pasting as well as stories, we did building and played with dolls, we watched a Facebook live with Mitchell shire library and enjoyed meal times together, we read stories for our MS Readathon and enjoyed some quiet time reading stories while relaxing in our book area. It was a fun week and I look forward to doing it all again next week.

06.01.2022 This morning we all went on a walk to the pond in my street, the children all rode bikes and we walked around and around the path enjoying some fresh air and sunshine, they even spotted a friend down in the drain and were very excited about seeing him.

06.01.2022 Great start to the week. Today we welcomed our new friend Macen to daycare. He did amazing for his first day, settled in really well, played happily and made new friends, I look forward to getting to know him as the week's go by.

04.01.2022 Jammed packed fun week. From tuning in to Mitchell Shire Library Facebook live, to playing with new toys and sensory sand, a trip to the pond where we could hear frogs and we saw horse in the paddock to arts and crafts with so many different shapes. We all had a fun week.

01.01.2022 A little while ago I posted about our street library that we will be putting in my front yard once completed, my wonderful hubby built it all for me this weekend so now the fun begins with painting it and getting it finished. All ready for the community to be apart of.
