02.03.2022 Hand Signs Visual; Kinaesthetic Date: 6 June 2017 The Gesture Approach- a visual and kinaesthetic way to help students learn and remember new words effectively! Students were practising saying, "Can I go to the bathroom?" with hand signs!

28.02.2022 Holiday Recount Authentic; Past tense Date: 20 April 2017 Students from Grade 1 and 2 returned from holiday in Term 2 were doing holiday recount using sentence structures: w qù le (I went); w wán le (I played) w kàn le (I saw) ! They also did pair sharing with the peers in class! It is vastly important that we teacher must not only making the learning fun but also ensure the purpose and authenticity!



21.02.2022 Guest workshop Chinese Painting; Calligraphy Date: 25 August 2016 I believe the value of cultural learning in enhancing student’s attainment, non-cognitive development and creativity, as a result in supporting them to become an all-rounded person! Introduction of the Art of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy: Students in Grade 3 to 6 were provided hand-on experience in using Chinese brush to draw Lily flower!
