25.01.2022 A recent post showed a Blonde Bull covering a herd of commercial Charolais, but Blonde cattle have been winning favour when included in cross breeding progra...ms for a long time. The Blondes have a way of stamping their strong characteristics over other breeds i.e. finer bone and higher yield, outstanding carcass traits and ease of calving. Blonde infused cattle excel at prestigious carcass competitions and once tried many beef breeders make the business decision to have them prominent in their commercial herds. What success stories do you have ? If you have a photo love to see it too. See more

11.01.2022 Yes these girls are making the most of this feed. An amazing xceptional season as opposed to the other dry extreme when despite it our cattle still hold their own.

11.01.2022 A 2 year old Poll sire heading to Queensland soon.

10.01.2022 Some random farm photos of our blondes and blonde cross style. Downsizing our herd at the moment so some great cattle going at good prices . Message us or call 0419721881

07.01.2022 All our young calves are doing well .

04.01.2022 Two bull calves arrived to French AI sires Vivaldi and Ian. It will be great to watch these two grow.

04.01.2022 Another 11 head sold into Gippsland area where the season and fed there will allow these girls to thrive .

04.01.2022 It is week 4 of our 5 week series as we highlight the many quality traits seen in Blonde D’ Aquitaine cattle known as, The Blonde Advantage. Week 4: The Blond...e Cross You will notice increased calf growth rate and Blonde conformation; length of body; well developed muscling, finer bone structure, and reduced external fat cover, on the first cross. Additionally, many commercial breeders use Blondes as a terminal cross in their beef cattle operations. Crosses with Angus, Brahman, Brangus, Brown Swiss, Charolais, Hereford, Santa Gertrudis, Shorthorn and Simmental are common. One successful breeder/feeder says he thinks a Simmental/Angus/Blonde cross is an ideal feedlot animal. Blonde/Angus crosses have been used by some breeders in an attempt to produce a polled Blonde Purebred.

01.01.2022 The Blondes have done well at the recent Yea sale. Blonde/Black Simmental 50/50 cross were equal toppers in the market with 2yo heifers and calves at foot. $...3150 per unit Our young yearling cross heifers were snapped up at $1750 each and 7 older cows (av age 7) with calves were $2750 a unit. We are also finding cull cows are still making good money at @5.75 per kg carcase.

01.01.2022 This Young Poll bull heading to N W Victoria to a repeat buyer. Accompanied by 6 females in calf to join a blonde and commercial herd. Looking forward to hearing about their progress
