Commentary and photos courtesy from John Waterhouse "Every year, the Como Rotary Club has a classic car display in Perth to raise money for charity. There is a wide range of vehicles, ranging from large-engined devices of various sorts, Australian and American, to small cars like proper Minis, small Fiats, Alfa-Romeo GT Juniors and so forth. We even had two Tatras. The British cars are very not...iceable at this event, with everything from large Rolls-Royces through a multitude of Jaguars and other makes like AC, Vauxhall, Humber and so forth. To provide contrast and design quality, we usually have a good range of French cars, this year including a lovely CX, 2CV and Tractions. We had five rear-engined cars, including three 4CVs as usual, Stef Brayley’s lovely Sport Spider and one of Perth’s five A110 examples, Steve Pummer’s lovely car. 21.01.2022 Just a few words to RCCV Members and FB followers, it's been a quiet year due to Covid-19 lockdown but we managed a couple of Coffee runs July and one few weeks ago, and today's Christmas BBQ. The club committee have been busy in the background organising a Member's drive day very soon (email to Members), and the Annual Reno Round-up in February at Mornington park Sunday 21 Feb 2021 followed by the exciting Aust F1GP were the new Alpine F1 team make their world debut and many other events. 18.01.2022 Just in TARGA High Country Postponed 13th -15th Nov After the stunning success of running TARGA Great Barrier Reef last month, in spite of the current COVID-19 restrictions, we have remained extremely hopeful of being able to run TARGA High Country in mid-November. Unfortunately, Victoria is in a different situation to Queensland at the moment and with still uncertain signs on the horizon; along with a clear window of opportunity to simply move the event dates; we have today taken the decision to postpone the running of the 11th TARGA High Country to 5 to 7 February 2021.
