25.01.2022 WORTH AND VALUE These are very strong words to reflect in your past, current and future relationships. Words that can be used in multiple scenarios to give huge meaning. ... Do you feel valued in your current relationship? If not this will effect your self worth and how you feel about yourself, which will then contribute to how you actively, but subconsciously behave in your relationships. Does your partner feel valued by you in your relationship? Are you affecting his or her self worth with out even knowing it? Ask them. Are you bringing equal value to the relationship? Do you feel worthy of your partnership? Whats the relationship worth to you? Is it worth saving? Is someone worthy of your love and commitment? Two very powerful words many different meanings. Either way you look at it the answer should still be yes. 13.01.2022 Whats the difference between your career and your calling? In business especially in startups stage all we hear is what is your WHY? I personally always found this question conflicting, because my why in business is different to my why in life and I always struggled to separate them, I thought they had to align to be successful... to deliver the correct Message.... This internal conflict was cemented when I attended an Aaron Sansoni event, and he explained how he too struggled with the same thought and came to the best analogy that made my mind click into gear. He explained that just because he made millions doing what he does, didnt mean its his passion, it just means hes really good at his job! He loves what he does, it makes him rich... but its not his passion. I was like What?!? This was amazing for me to hear, to know its ok to love what you do within your career, but its not your calling. From what I have observed many times, often our career can help us discover our calling along the way... but its ok if it doesnt. Our profession doesnt need to define us, its simply how we make our money. Our calling, our passion, our reason for being on earth to me is something money cannot determine. Its something we just know we have to do and do it without reward. So... its completely understandable to know your why in business, but still be figuring out your why in life. 10.01.2022 HUMAN CONNECTION Social media is TOXIC for relationships. I rant every few months on this platform to project the absolute disgust social media injects into our romantic relationships. ... There is absolutely no place for it. I see it time and time again in both my businesses first hand destroying relationships, both new and existing. Im so frustrated and saddened by it. Can everyone just replace the words follow me to meet me but actually mean it, actually have the decency to show up in person with integrity instead of hiding, judging and stalking from such superficial, narcissistic immorally incorrect platforms. Do you know how many people in relationships cheat via LinkedIn... yes LinkedIn a forum for professionals!! My ass it is. People are yearning for genuine connections, meaningful and honest relationships, wanting to meet real not fake down to earth people, yet fall immediately into this exact toxic patterned behaviour themselves. Theres an entire generation of kids too scared to answer the bloody phone! Yet they will like, follow, post, snap, DM and private message indefinitely. 04.01.2022 Monday morning home styling inspo! Monday mornings for me used to consist of leaving the house yelling and screaming at the kids get in the car, were going to be late! The kids would be fighting and someone would always forget something! It would set both mine and the kids day up for reactivate, panicky behaviour. I noticed a huge change when we started spending our Sundays preparing for the week around the house, for school and my work.... I put up a checklist for both kids on the kitchen wall to tick off before we left to ensure nothing was forgotten, their beds were made and room was tidy and clean to enjoy when they got home, and one less thing for ME to do as a busy mum. I also ensured I never opened my laptop or turned my work phones on until I dropped the kids off at school. This ensured I was present for them and calm. 03.01.2022 DESTRUCTIVE PATTERNS We all have a destructive pattern inside us that we fall into and unintentionally repeat. This is a pattern youve subconsciously programmed into yourself, that you revert back to as part of negative patterned behaviour.... Its hard to notice these patterns as a single person when its just you trying to live your best life, but obvious when youre in a relationship as these patterns are usually the centre of couple conflict. The only good thing about destructive patterns is they become predictable, so you can catch yourself.
