20.01.2022 Sometimes things don’t quite go to plan and a huge diesel engine turns up (1.5 hours early!) right next to your ceremony location and is locked in to stay - engines idling, for the next two hours until driver changeover. Not only did it block the light, but we couldn’t hear a thing over the engine! Some sweet-talking to the drivers who weren’t confident of a solution, who then sweet-talked their operations team, who then cleared the next train yard along for this really long... beast of a grain train to move along to! Regardless, we would have made the ceremony work perfectly. Thankfully, no last-minute changes were necessary. However, this is just one example of how things can happen and you can still have a perfect day and a something to laugh at for years to come. A special congrats to S+D on their marriage today. Almost twenty years in the making, and nothing was stopping you. #lovetrain

13.01.2022 Congratulating my grandparents on FIFTY SEVEN years of marriage today. I asked them what their secret was; my Nanna said ‘Communication: tell them you love them, tell them they look good, tell them they’re doing great and don’t go to bed angry.’ My Pop said ‘Don’t argue.’ Solid advice, Pop! ... Here they are on their first date in ‘62 and also dancing up a storm at my own wedding 5 years ago. Very proud!

08.01.2022 N E W V E N U E A L E R T Greenvalley Barn, what a beautiful place. Photos just don’t do the barn justice. A must see out at Plainby near Crows Nest, it’s also possible to bus your guests out from a Toowoomba/Highfields, using local bus services.

05.01.2022 On Saturday, I had the pleasure of heading back to where I said ‘I do’ a few years ago. Gabbinbar Homestead took my breath away, once again. As did O+A, all scrubbed up in front of their loved ones. Best wishes to a gorgeous couple that were clearly made for each other - I was fighting the tears myself! Gabbinbar went above and beyond to make me feel a bit special, and it wasn’t even my wedding!

02.01.2022 Sam + Sam chose to have their wedding at sunrise which was so unbelievably special. A lot of people love them hard because they braved the brisk morning in the dark to celebrate these two - Sam Squared style. It was totally worth it to see the smiles on their faces.
