25.01.2022 #opportunitymerredin A lot of Wheatbelt towns have extremely good house prices. Merredin is no different. With over 120 houses on the market here - a bargain can be had. I know of many people who have taken advantage of some well priced properties in Merredin with "good bones" and have worked to transform them. Lifts our housing standard in town, supports local trades as they keep busy with renovation work and allows people to pay their mortgages off or have low repayment... costs. Importantly, it keeps people in town, or even attracts some new ones - more kids at the school, more people to play sport and volunteer, and some may even set up a business - we know there is a lot of opportunity there - for both bricks and mortar and online. For those with jobs but hate the commute - why not negotiate a remote working role and base yourself out in the regions? See more
