24.01.2022 Congratulation Team Renegades for winning the Club Challenge 12 years in a row. Well done to all our members who travelled to Granite Belt Bowmen to shoot and represent the club. A huge thank you to the Granite Belt Bowmen members for your hospitality. Another great weekend of archery was had by all.



23.01.2022 Happy New year. Time to check out the club calendar to work out which shoots you are attending in 2021. Let’s get the numbers at club shoots back to where they used to be. First club event is 9th January with a working bee in the morning, committee meeting at 12 and coaching at 2pm. First club shoot is 10th January starting at 8am cost is $10 adult or $15 per family. First Interclub shoot is 23-24th January at the Barambah club.

22.01.2022 The Annual Renegades Catfish Classic was hotly contested today at Hamon Cove. The winning fish measured 57cm & was landed by Jason Chandler. Kev Dowd won the guessing competition with the closest estimate of 56cm. Thank you everyone that came along & enjoyed the perfect day at the dam.

22.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who competed in the February club shoot. It was very hot, thank you to everyone involved that help run this event. Congratulations to Mel on winning the $50 members draw. Highest score of the day went to Brad with a 796.

21.01.2022 Hello everyone, FYI - As part of our normal security process, Ray Boreham is changing the locks to our Club grounds & facilities. Please note - the current lock will be taken off in February 2021. In the meantime, your current keys are still usable on the gates only. Make sure you see Ray at the first opportunity next year to hand in your old set of keys & swap for your new set of keys - Saturday January 9 2021 - working bee, meeting, coaching, or Sunday January 10 2021- Club Shoot.

21.01.2022 IFAA Field club shoot this Sunday 31st January. Great way to practise your form. 4 arrows at 28 targets. Max distance is 80 yards. Cost is $10. There is no start time as you can arrive and start shooting when you like. If you would like to join in with a group please arrive around 8-8.30am

19.01.2022 Our members had a chance to guess which baby photo was which Committee member as well. Ray Boreham was the winner with 13 out of 15 correct. Well done Ray!

19.01.2022 Ever wanted to help out your club by being an Field Archery Instructor. A FAI course will be run on Saturday 24th October at Grange Bowmen. To attend you must ...have been an ABA member for 12 months and have a blue card. Your club have to put you forward to be an instructor. 17.01.2022 Sunday 22nd November is the Monthly club IFAA shoot. Shooting 4 arrows at 28 targets with Maximum shot is 80yards. Cost is $10. This shoot is also our Club championship shoot. Those members that are eligible for the club championship awards are below.

12.01.2022 2020 Club Challenge is on 14-15th November at the Granite Belt club in Stanthorpe the home of some great winery’s. Anyone want to make a long weekend of it and go on a winery tour of the fantastic area on Friday the 13th. The tour is from 12 to 5pm cost is $95 includes lunch and pick up and drop off from the club grounds. Please comment below if you are interested

10.01.2022 Just a reminder the scheduled monthly working bee/coaching and club shoot for this weekend has been postponed to the 17-18th July. Due to most of the committee that runs the event will be away competing in the IFAA Nationals.

05.01.2022 Due to the latest 3 day COVID lockdown in the Ipswich-Brisbane area the club is closed until 6pm on Friday. Fingers crossed the lockdown only last 3 days

05.01.2022 The club 3D shoot was well supported today and everyone had a lot of fun shooting and also having a go of the knife and axe throwing.

05.01.2022 Want to get out of the house this weekend? Why not come out and help the club out at the monthly working bee on Saturday 6th Feb. committee meeting at 12 and coaching Saturday 2 til 4pm. Cost for non members at the coaching is $10. Sunday 7th is the monthly club shoot which starts at 8am so please arrive by 7-7.30am to nominate. Cost is $10 person or $15 family. This shoot is our memorial shoot to remember our club members that are no longer with us.
