23.01.2022 Adding plants to any space for me is as important as an item of furniture. They are the ultimate companion, accessory, sculpture or work of art. Nature is amazing! The new re design for the tenancy had to occupy a reception, a ... private meeting room, showroom/showcase room, a working studio space, an office for Louise as well as a back of house, kitchen and storage area. 15.01.2022 To all of those near and far, our clients, suppliers, trades, family, followers and industry peers. Thanks for sharing this years wild ride, your support has truly helped us get through. As I reflect I honestly can’t believe what our small team has achieved this year. Early in the year we wrapped up our Maleny project which took 2 yrs to assist Project managing the build, internal and external selections, interior design, lighting, as well as furnishing the entire 7 bedro...om home and wine cellar. We also took on the landscape design in February which we likened to landscaping and designing a garden in 4 different climates rolled into one location. Then in March the world was rocked by COVID and with building sites still operational we had to find another gear. Not realising both Sam and I had contracted Ross River Fever.. Our beautiful retail project for the The Orangerie was underway and Laura to her credit opened her wellness store amidst the unknown. Penthouse 37 and a smaller Apartment renovation at Noosa Crest were also completed at this time as our Victorian clients went into hard lockdowns. Amanda joined our team and we moved office and warehouse, fitting out our studio and making plans to open a new arm to the business (2021). We were thrilled to then be asked to design the new Gowan Lea office, a tasting bar for an exciting new Gin Distillery, the flagship showroom and studio of the talented Louise Jean Jewellery, and a redesign for rockstars Velvet Mane all launching in the new year. We welcomed a new baby for Miranda and a new team member Leesa. Whilst being deep in design and documentation for 5 of our 2021 projects starting construction early next year we wrapped up the year completing a renovation at the Sebel Resort Noosa. Needless to say I am so proud of how our team of 5 has powered through this year. I am forever grateful for their wonderful work ethic and sense of humour. The next couple of weeks will be time for us to reflect, reunite, rediscover and REST! I hope all of you who have been on this ride with us get to do the same. 01.01.2022 This stunning shelving @theorangerienoosa is doing more than you think it was thoughtfully designed to do 4 things . 1. Firstly Block out the harsh setting western sun by creating a new wall and cladding the external corner of the shop. This side of the shop was originally all glass windows. With Laura’s products being all natural it was a big part of the brief to knock out as much sun/heat whilst still being open and accessible. 2. In doing so we created a secret door t...o a window display on the Lanyana Way street side to engage and delight passers by. 3. Act as another overhead planter for more diving tentacles of plants to enter the space. 4. Storage.
