25.01.2022 A good evening to our avid followers. As you may have seen recently, there have been a lot of posts with "Quest Angling Expeditions" material. We have been very busy in the background re-branding our Live-aboard mothership fishing expeditions to "Quest Angling Expeditions." We are proud to say we have now re-branded and are full steam into 2020 and beyond to bring you one of the best live-aboard fishing experiences on the coast, departing from Airlie Beach in the beautif...ul Whitsundays. We still have Renegade Fishing Charters operating from Hamilton Island, just jump across to our new dedicated page "Renegade Fishing Charters Hamilton Island" and give us a like and a follow! 21.01.2022 Though mind-blowingly stunning from the water, the Great Barrier Reef can be difficult to explain for those that have not seen it. We often receive questions on what grounds we fish when we are on the outer Great Barrier Reef, where we anchor for the nights, what does it look like? Here are a couple of photos (which never do it justice) of just a mere few, coral reef systems we visit. The large sheltered shallow lagoons, the deep ledges, the tight fast flowing gutters t...hat carve their way through the reef, some gutters worthy of being called rivers.....words can never put in perspective how stunning, and how enormous of a fishing playground it really is. We are truly lucky to be in the Whitsundays, the heart of the Great Barrier reef, and be able to fish, explore and enjoy it with our clients. 19.01.2022 Hi all, it has been a while but here is a quick update from us. While we remain in tight lockdown, it seems like we are having a win with Covid-19. Yay! We want our guests to know that we are still here, maintaining a state of readiness and doing our part to reduce (hopefully completely eradicate) Covid-19. We WILL be running once we can return to some type of normal. So please contact us if you have any queries about your booking, or wish to make a booking for later in the y...ear. We are happy to tentatively book guests and play it as it comes. We still have spots available on our liveaboard mothership trips later in the year (August, October and November) so if you are still interested, let’s see what we can make happen! Given the uncertainty we are going to open 2021 dates for our mothership expeditions to the outer Great Barrier Reef, Continental Shelf and outer Coral Sea. These will be available in the near future so keep an eye out for when we release! In the mean time, stay safe and lets knock it on the head so we can get back to doing what we love. 16.01.2022 Sand and Coral Atoll drop offs are just one of the many services we offer on our Mothership Liveaboard Expeditions. Whether it be casting Top water, Fly Fishing, Snorkelling or just exploring, an Atoll drop off hundreds of miles to sea can be a very exciting experience!

16.01.2022 These small coral or sand islands form home to a variety of different species, which can be a lot of fun and a lot of hard work in the shallows surrounding the cay. Lucky for us, the Great Barrier Reef provides many of them across its huge expanse of complex coral reef systems!

10.01.2022 These massive coral reef systems of the Great Barrier Reef hold a large array of target fish (and non target) on our charters. They also offer us calm anchorages for the night in the shallow lagoons, protected by the hard coral reef edges surrounding them. Here you can see just that.
