18.01.2022 We welcome Matt from our friends at Dickson Baptist Church for our joint campaign called Ways of Life. We’re partnering with them as both our churches explore Work, Rest, Technology and Hospitality, all in light of what God thinks of these things and in light of the challenges that 2020 has brought in these areas of life. Today at Renew Matthew Glowacki is helping us notice the ways we can rest with restlessness, and how resting in Jesus can bring restorative, satisfying rest. Jesus said, Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

11.01.2022 What better way to spend time in isolation than working on your marriage! Over the next 7 weeks Renew Anglican Church will be running an online course, via Zoom. You don't have to be attending Renew, or any church for that matter. It's open for all couples and it is completely free. Each night will involve a short video with practical teaching on marriage, followed by private conversation time with your spouse (There is no group sharing time in this one).... 05.01.2022 Did you know #Canberra has a huge gambling problem? We have the 2nd highest density of poker machines in Australia and lax laws when it comes to betting and spending limits. Almost unbelievably in a 2019 ACT Gambling Survey, conducted by the ANU, 10% of Canberras reported having at least one symptom on the Problem Gambling Severity Index.... Addiction to poker machines, in particular, is one activity that is breaking lives, families, and homes.
