16.01.2022 Year 7 Graduation and Just2Deadly awards. I am very pleased to let you know that the year 7 Graduation presentation and Just2Deadly awards are going ahead on Monday 7th December at 9.45a.m in the Hall. The Just2Deadly awards will be a wonderful part of this year’s presentation ceremony. The easing of COVID-19 restrictions from tomorrow has come at the right time!... Attending the presentation will be our year 6 students, primary school siblings of the year 7 students, several invited guests and a maximum of 2 family members per year 7 student. The year 7 students are also now able to have their dinner in the Renmark Hotel Function Room. The Function Room is part of the hotel so we couldn’t book for 50 when the whole venue’s maximum number was 100, which changes tomorrow. More details about all of this home tomorrow - I’m sure you’ll all be very pleased, as we are. I most sincerely thank our year 7 teachers and Jarrad from the Renmark Hotel for working so closely with me to make this happen. A great team effort We were always going to do something special despite the difficulties and restrictions; even bringing food on site is difficult. To those parents and students who’ve been disappointed but understanding, patient, supportive and trusted that we’d do our best - thank you so much. We always want to do our best for our students and families. Look out for more information home soon.

14.01.2022 Great news! We are all back at school on Monday. It’ll be lovely to see our students again. Learning programs resume. Restrictions remain so until further notice; - parents, volunteers and visitors are not able to come on site - students leave all toys at home - our end of year concert and year 7 Graduation dinner remain cancelled... - year 7 students will be presented with their Graduation certificates and our year 7 Aboriginal students will receive their Just2Deadly awards - no end of year class parties but an end of year picnic at school instead - more information soon At this stage parents won’t be able to attend these events but we know things can change quickly! 08.01.2022 All students and staff back to school tomorrow. Parents, volunteers and visitors are not able to be on site though, so please drop off and collect your children at the gate. Thank you.

03.01.2022 How quickly the Covid situation and our responses change! We are now in a 6 day hard lock down, followed by another eight where hopefully some restrictions are eased. Our staff understand that our community overall will find this very difficult, however it is necessary to provide a circuit breaker to stop the further spread of Covid-19. We offer our full support, we will be in touch via Face Book, email and phone. Please contact us to clarify any questions or concerns and k...now that we are here for you all. An update for Renmark Primary School: - school is open this Thursday/Friday, and next Monday/Tuesday for children of essential workers - we are operating on a skeleton staff for this period of time - OSHC is open before and after school for children of essential workers - buses will run as normal this week; I will clarify this situation for next Monday/Tuesday. - parents are once again not permitted on site - please drop off and collect your child from the gate. They will then walk to their classroom and be redirected to the supervising teacher - please leave soft toys at home. Children may bring their own craft activity/puzzle to school (no sharing); no electronics please - children will not be sharing resources, toys, food. We will maintain hand washing, sanitizing and safe Covid practice - staff and students cannot come to school if they are unwell; they can return when they are well again or if they've had a Covid test, when they have a negative result - Next Monday and Tuesday, staff will prepare online learning for children at home to do from next Wednesday; no hard packs this time. Teachers will advise more early next week Unfortunately our Let's Celebrate concert and year 7 Graduation dinner and ceremony at the Renmark Hotel Function Room have been cancelled. We hope to have the year 7 awards and Graduation certificates presented at an assembly..this of course depends on further SA Health and Department for Education directives. No assemblies at this stage. We will work our way through this very difficult time; we'll do it together and do as we are asked so that we can come through this as quickly as possible. I am again very grateful that our staff, community and our Department are so supportive. What a team effort!!

03.01.2022 YEAR 7 RHS TRANSITION Today, Tuesday 24 November and Tomorrow, Wednesday 25 November. Students need to arrive by 8:45am and meet on the lawns near Student Services (chaffey house side).... We wish all of our students a great 2 days of fun and meeting new friends.
