A sore throat, headache, runny nose, body aches, fever and/or a cough all ...point to the same thing: kids shouldnt be at school. So keep them at home and let them take what they need to feel better (whether thats or ).

23.01.2022 Lights... camera... paramedics! Calling for an ambulance can be scary so our friends at SA Ambulance Service have created a new educational film. Normally pa...ramedics would visit our schools to talk to children about what they do, but COVID-19 restrictions have made that a bit too tricky. So, as a solution, this mini movie was made. The film talks about calling Triple Zero (000), what happens when an ambulance arrives, and the types of equipment paramedics use. Thank you for making this, and for teaching us all about what you do SA Ambulance Service. We encourage all parents and guardians to watch this video with kids! Closed captions are available, just click the "settings" icon (the little cog) to turn captions on.

12.01.2022 ! Here at the Department for Education we live for the school term. In fact, we LOVE it, which is why we've created a free downloa...dable 2021 school term calendar so we can admire all the weeks of great teaching and learning that'll happen this year. Available in A4 and A3 versions, you can print it out to keep on the fridge, on the pantry door, on your desk - the sky's the limit! It's also available as an iCalendar file, so you can add the dates to the calendar on your device. It has all the key information, including term dates and public holidays. The larger A3 version also lists key events in the school year (some of our favourites are Principals' Day and World Teachers' Day). The calendars, along with term dates for the next 5 years (for those who are super organised), are available here: www.education.sa.gov.au//south-australian-state-schools-te

10.01.2022 Black and white board books are the perfect way to introduce a reading routine with your baby. Research shows in their first few months babies can only see clea...rly for a short distance. Babies respond enthusiastically to high contrast geometric shapes, typically black and white images and bold red images. Our Little Book Press black and white board books, including My First Shapes, Sing With Me buggy book, My Every Day Shapes and My Food Shapes, are the perfect tool for tummy time play and introducing books to your little one. He really does focus on the images, Im so glad I found out about the black and white books with newborns otherwise I would have totally missed out - Jade with 5-week-old baby Mason www.littlebookpress.com.au #raisingliteracyaustralia #littlebookpress #blackandwhite #baby #boardbook

09.01.2022 The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) has recently advised that much of metropolitan Adelaide and some areas of the Riverland are in fruit fly outbreak or suspension areas. To help South Australia fight fruit fly becoming an established pest, PIRSA is introducing the following movement restrictions, effective immediately until at least Thursday 15 April 2021. Please find some useful information for your reference. Please note: for all our new preschool children we will be providing a variety of fresh fruit during this time.
