24.01.2022 Round 8 Results Round 8 saw Top Guns have their biggest win of the season against The Shooters and Desperados winning a close one over Double Fish. In the first game of the night Top Guns had a solid win over The Shooters winning 12-8 and making it three in a row for Nigel and his team. Top guns started strong winning five of the six doubles and lengthened that lead in the singles winning seven of the remaining twelve games. 18.01.2022 Round 6 Results Round 6 was marred by a car accident involving three of our players. Whilst everyone was ok from the accident, unfortunately games were forfeited in the process. The results saw bottom of the ladder top guns beat double fish, second time for the season. In the second set of matches between Crushers and The Shooters, Crushes saw victory for the third time in a row, now taking second place on the ladder. A cake from Paringa Bakery was enjoyed by all players as...Continue reading

17.01.2022 Good luck to Rylan Coppin who is about to start a 12 week Smash hit program in Adelaide. Well done to his parents with their support driving him down and back every Saturday. RTTA have no doubt we will see a much improved and experienced player when our winter season gets underway.

13.01.2022 Good day of TT in Adelaide. State Veterans Open Championships. Runner up, got to be happy with that.

13.01.2022 The Year 3-7s were fortunate enough to finish their Table Tennis Unit through Sporting Schools run by Nigel Stoeckel at the Renmark Table Tennis Club. The stude...nts thoroughly enjoyed this unit and learnt a lot from Nigel. With the club re-opening this week we were able to enjoy more game play and mini tournaments against each other. We'd like to thank Nigel and the association for his assistance with running this program and teaching the students all things table tennis, and providing new table tennis bats to the student who has worked and improved the most over the program. We really appreciate the time and effort Nigel gave to all classes throughout the last three weeks. We are so excited to have four of our own table tennis tables now at the school which we can use for lessons next year. Please extend your support to the Renmark Table Tennis Association by liking their page on facebook and following information for next year's after-school programs. https://m.facebook.com/RenmarkTableTennisAssociation

12.01.2022 Semi Finals In a shortened season both Crushers and Battered Fish will meet in the grand final after beating Up2U and The Shooters respectively. Battered Fish were far to strong against an undermanned Shooters. With three of their top four unavailable for the semi finals the resultant move of players out of their normal positions resulted in an overwhelming win of 18-0 to Battered Fish. While everyone in Battered Fish played well Steve Watsons (Battered Fish) win over Darren ...Continue reading

12.01.2022 After the 2 week Covid hiccup, the 2020/2021 Smash Hit Program 'Southside' finally got off the ground today at Southern Table Tennis. The morning session was us...ed as a grading session to determine player standard. It was great to see so many new boys and girls participating in the program, and those junior players from last year who have shown improvement and moved up a division. Next week matches are split across the Brighton and Adelaide Clubs, details to be advised by email and posted on the TTSA website. See more

05.01.2022 Grand Final Results After being the dominant team all season Battered Fish proved to be far too strong for Crushers winning 13-5 in the Renmark Table Tennis Association 2020 Grand Final. Starting strong with 6 close victories in the doubles Double Fish were always going to be hard to beat. With four of the six doubles going to five sets, Battered Fish managed to have the winning shots at the right time winning all four. In the singles Dennis Robinson continued his return to f...orm winning both his singles for Crushers, but needed more support with only three other games won by his teammates. For Battered Fish Andrew Walladge won both his singles and the rest of the team contributing with at least one win. The end of the season also saw the presentation of awards the winners were: Trimper Trophy (Most wins for the season) won by Nigel Stoeckel, Rod Stoeckel and Carolyn Carson Most Improved won by Rylan Coppin Life Member Dennis Robinson was also awarded Life Membership.
