It talks about the virus in simple terms, includes a science experiment about hand washing and germs and even features a video call between Play School hosts as an example of how you can stay in touch with friends and family during social isolation. If you choose to share this with your children, please watch it with them so they can ask you any questions they may have.

23.01.2022 With the new Adelaide break out it’s time for a reminder that if your child is sick, or showing any signs of illness (especially fever, runny nose, cough) do not send them to preschool, occasional care or playgroup. If you do need to go for a COVID test with your child, below is some advice on how to prepare them for the swap. The swab is very quick and does not hurt, but it can be a bit scary for children to be surrounded by people dressed in protective equipment and then have a swab up their nose. Keep well everyone.

20.01.2022 Preschool starts back on Monday the 27th and were looking forward to seeing or getting in touch with our families. It is up to families to decide if they will send their child to preschool or they can choose to keep them at home. Our staff will be supporting children on site and those learning at home. We now ask families to sign their child in and pick up by the gate next to the sandpit. We ask that families do not come into the preschool yard with their child. Please do ...not send your child to preschool if they show any symptoms of sickness, this includes runny nose, fever and sore throats. To all our community families, at this stage our community programs will not be running. We will be in touch if there are any changes.

13.01.2022 Please stay home this Easter and school holidays. Easter is a special time for many South Australians, providing us all with a chance to spend time with our lo...ved ones or enjoy a long weekend camping before winter starts. But the coronavirus outbreak means this years Easter break will look a little different for us all. While we have to change our plans, you can still spend quality time with your loved ones. Staying at home will reduce the chances of you and your family becoming sick, or causing others to become sick. Cancelling holiday plans is always upsetting, but it is a vital step in protecting everyone, including our regional communities and their health resources. While family get-togethers, parties and BBQs are usually a great way to spend the long weekend, this year its important that everyone continues to practise social distancing. You should avoid spending time with anyone outside your immediate family and follow the state rules on indoor and outdoor gatherings. There are still lots of ways you can celebrate the holiday, and this can be especially important during these worrying times. Special meals, Easter egg hunts and camping in your backyard are just some of the ways you can keep entertained and there is no limit on the amount of hot cross buns you can eat. Even during the holidays, its important we all work together to stop the spread of the virus for the sake of everyone in our community.

12.01.2022 A little bit of rain doesnt stop our play. At RPCC we have rain suits and gumboots so that children can still play outside, even if its raining.
