06.01.2022 Update from Rent my Property: First and foremost we would like to take this time to thank everyone for their patience during the beginning of what seems to be starting out as a challenging year for us in Queensland. We have been fortunate to be safe from the real onslaught of COVID-19 until now and the resultant effect on our business is being felt by everyone. For that, we thank you for your understanding.... We may not always respond as quickly as you are used to while we navigate staff reductions during isolation requirements and remind everyone that if you have not received a response within 1-2 business days, please forward your email enquiry to [email protected] where all urgent issues will always be dealt with. For the same reasons, usual trades people are also experiencing delays and access issues to help finalise maintenance this coupled with Christmas and New Year closures has meant that there may be some delays on non-urgent maintenance issues. We also remind our Tenants to please notify our office if anyone in your household tests positive and is required to isolate so that inspections and/or maintenance appointments can be postponed. Finally, we have made the decision the postpone our first round of routine inspections for 2022 gaining access when so many are currently isolating and sometimes suffering health-wise is difficult we also want to do our part to help stop the spread and moving from property to property is not ideal in the current climate. If you have any maintenance issues to report, please email your Property Manager, report via your Tenant App or log on our website (photos are always appreciated where reasonable). Likewise, if any Landlords/Owners would specifically like an inspection conducted, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you around the above issues. We are still doing viewings on available properties as normal (unless there is a current occupant who has been instructed to isolate) and we’re here to move Tenants in and out as normal (albeit with some adjustments where needed). We understand that during troubled times everyone can be a little less patient than normal and we would remind everyone that we’re here to help as best we can we’re all going through something so let’s be supportive and kind to one another kindness can spread as easily as a pandemic if we let it!
