02.01.2022 What Hit My Desk? Ending Tenancy! It's time to move out which means it's time to prepare your property for handover back to the landlord/agent. This means restoring your rental property back to entry condition, with the exception of fair wear and tear. ... When preparing your property for handover, refer to your entry condition report supplied to you at tenancy start. This is the standard at which the landlord/agent will be expecting upon the keys being handed back. Complete an exit report to return with your keys and any evidence for cleaning/services. The landlord/agent will also complete an exit report. The entry and exit reports are compared to determine the condition of the property. There may be some items to address for indifference.
