24.01.2022 Internal Render and White Set Internal wall rendering is similar to external wall rendering but with a different product to finish white set plaster finish. White set plaster has to be applied over a straight solid background so the surface has to be prepared properly by your renderer. RenTex have years of experience when it comes to interior plastering and can ensure you get a high quality finish to your walls regardless of whether theyre new or old walls being renovated.

21.01.2022 We often get asked what are the differences between Plastering and Rendering. Plastering and rendering are both the process of covering walls. The main difference in the two is that plastering refers to coating the interior walls, whilst rendering is the coating of exterior walls. The major distinction between plastering and rendering is the strength of the materials used in each. Even so plaster and render are both made from the same building materials including, cement, sand, water and lime gypsum. Hope that helps. Dont forget to like and share!!

06.01.2022 Looking to render your home and trying to decide what type of Render to use. There is two types of rendering materials which are mostly used # Cement render and Acrylic render Cement render is a mixture of sand, cement and sometimes clay and/or lime. It can come pre-mixed or may be mixed on site. A newer version of cement render, polymer modified cement render, comes pre-mixed. While it costs more, polymer modified cement render is said to adhere better than cement render ...and because it can come in a variety of colours, may save you the cost of painting. Acrylic render is becoming increasingly popular because it resists cracking, which is a common problem with cement render. It can also be skimmed over the surface of a cement render, which may be a money-saving option if several layers of render are needed.Got any questions, dont hesitate.
