17.01.2022 Chances are there may be a tad bit of rain this weekend ..and that's the perfect excuse to head out and explore one of our world famous caves! This is Lake Ca...ve, the most actively dripping cave in the south west and home of the beautiful "suspended table". The cave is one of the deepest on the Leeuwin Naturaliste Ridge, with entry access through a spectacular doline surrounded by karri trees. Come check it out tomorrow! 9am to 5pm are the opening hours and guided tours run about every 40 minutes. See ya there! - Tim Campbell Photo

14.01.2022 It's a great time to think of booking a stay down south as it's the time of year when the Margaret River Region Open Studios host a 16-day event offering a trail of discovery for all art lovers. With over 130+ artists, this is the largest event of it’s kind. Held 28 April 2018 13 May 2018. Artists and artisans are expected to open the doors to their art studios and workshops, delivering a unique experience for art lovers to meet the creator of the artwork, peruse original a...rtworks and of course purchase artwork. Work may include painting, drawings, sculpture, hand blown glass, print making, handmade furniture, as well as jewellery, ceramics, textiles and many other media. Geographically grouped venues across Busselton, Margaret River, Augusta, Vasse, Yallingup, Quindalup, Dunsborough, Cowaramup will be shown on maps so visitors can design their own art trails. Where Participating artists will open their art studios and workshops across the whole of the Margaret River Wine Region. Each open studio will be clearly identified on a detailed map in the collectable 2018 Event Catalogue which will be available online and widely distributed in the run-up to the event.
