25.01.2022 Repair Shed is a community initiative to create a permanent repair cafe workspace where waste conscious consumers can use tools, equipment and volunteer support to help increase the lifespan of their stuff and divert it from landfill. You can fix it! Get involved - Repair Shed is currently looking for a home on the north side. Join the team and become a volunteer fixer. Stay tuned for updates.

20.01.2022 BTL Repair Café is back ! Our friendly volunteers at the Tool Library are eager to help you save your appliances from landfill. Book now to get help fixing your Electrical appliances, Clothing, Textiles and Shoes, Furniture restoration, Guitars and more! These one-to-one sessions are great for beginners and seasoned fixers. We aim to give broken stuff a new life and save your old things from the tip. Repair can be simple and rewarding and you will walk out feeling confident e...nough to start fixing things yourself. Book your spot now! We will accept walk-ins on the day, but can't guarantee you a spot if our area becomes too busy to socially distance. 03.01.2022 Repair Café alert! We are excited to announce the second edition of our Repair café, which will be held on 25th April, 2021. Repair Cafes are free and open ...workshop events where people sign up to have their broken stuff repaired by experienced fixers. In our last edition, we managed to save 25kgs of people's beloved electrical appliances, clothing and furniture from landfill, making it our biggest Repair Cafe yet. Book your spot now! 02.01.2022 Mum’s Kenwood chef has been mixing cakes in our family for over 40 years! It was only a broken wire that brought it to the bench but I replaced the motor brushes and capacitor while I had it apart. This amazing machine will do another 40+ years. It’s amazing how we had it so right, so long ago and now we have it so wrong.
