21.01.2022 From a burnt out, stressed and emotional business owner in the thick of COVID - to more pep in her step, actually achieving her goals and feeling excited by life again! - check out what my VIP client Mollie shared with me this week... Hey Amanda, I just had to let you know that EVERYTHING has changed. I've been struggling for the last 2 weeks or so. There have been good times in there too, but there has been a lot of uncertainty, stress, and big emotions.... Literally everything changed after our chat yesterday! I truly loved teaching my classes last night, my new program is coming together, I'm loosely thinking about the next 2 programs, I got so much done, I now have clarity and a path forward for everything, I feel creative again, I'm doing more exercise for myself (including power yoga 4 times a week), AND my diet is happening practically on its own! And I'm down 2kg since last week! It is SOOOOO good! I'm happy, feel like there's more pep in my step (omg I'm turning into my mother lol), and annoying things aren't affecting me anymore! ~~~~ This literally happened 2 days after we had just one coaching call together! Here’s a pic of she sent me taking herself out on a lunch date this week - because she can! ==== PS - Im taking in just ONE more person for the year in my VIP Mindset Reset course. If you want to: 1. Im making a more conscious effort to celebrate my epic wins publically and shout them out loud. Because why the hell shouldn’t we be loud and fabulous and celebrate more?! Recently I’ve noticed so many people/clients/friends I’ve been having conversations with give far too much airtime on the negative/challenging things in th...eir life that it begins to manifest its way into their day to day being. Forgetting to stop and celebrate their successes along the way. Pushing them under the rug so to speak. (Me included ) Tell you what though, something I’ve been working on more with myself is to stop and celebrate the awesome achievements I accomplish too. something awesome I achieve/tick off gaining a new client clients getting epic results listening more and more to my body’s needs etc..... And what a difference it makes to your mindset! Feel so much more pumped about my days and what I AM doing instead of giving so much airtime to the shitty things life throws at me. Poor me. 18.01.2022 Recently I was asked by a new client of mine How do you do it all? Like, do you actually sleep? Where do you find the motivation to always be ON? TRUTH - I don’t. Most mornings Id much prefer to snooze my alarm or better yet wake with no alarm every single day... Let me tell you - I DID NOT want to get up and work out this morning. But I did. My body hurts most days. I have an interesting series of health challenges going on right now that I’ve never had before. I am still living day to day with the physical pain and mental hurdles that came with a sudden fall I had 6 months ago. I manage every day with the symptoms of having a spine disease that will never go away. I’m not a pro athlete and it doesn’t just come easy for me. Some days, just getting out of bed feels like a chore. I don’t say this for sympathy or attention. In fact, I very rarely even talk about my personal health or my body! But I made a commitment to myself that I would NEVER let any of these things be an excuse as to why I won’t succeed or fulfil my promise to myself. Yes - I have to reschedule, reevaluate and course correct sometimes. That’s all part of the self love and listening to what my body NEEDS. But if I said I am going to commit to something, I’ll make damn sure I do my absolute best to see it through in whatever way I can - and sometimes it may look different to how I thought, but that’s life right? Being open to new things always If you actually want to achieve a goal or have more for yourself, the first thing I ALWAYS encourage my clients to do is get really raw and real with yourself. Stop with the excuses, BS and saying you want something if you’re not willing to do things you don’t want to when you don’t feel like it. The truth is, only YOU are responsible for you. Only YOU can make the changes for you. Only YOU can achieve the goal for you. If not, it’s simply not a priority for you - which is totally fine by the way. 16.01.2022 SORE LOWER BACK? TIGHT HIPS? Need to STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE?? Since injuring myself 3 weeks ago, I’ve not been able to exercise at all. At most, a very short walk. Today = THIS!! This is the most amount of exercise I’ve been able to do in 3 weeks and I’m ecstatic! ... Gentle. Low impact. Strengthening. Also, I’m DYING over this song too What I love most about VERAFLOW is how gentle you can take the movements based on where your body and fitness levels are at right now. For me, this is the perfect class to ease back into moving my body again. Don’t forget - I have been doing these types of movements for almost 30 years - so my body is used to bending this way.
