24.01.2022 This was a set to remember, I cherish this flick so much as it brings to mind the atmosphere and energy that was present on that night. Simon Milan has been a heavyweight on this scene for a while playing 1 half of Mr Spook as well as a myriad of other wicked gigs. It was such a pleasure to be able to play alongside someone of his caliber, and it is a continued pleasure being able to watch him play as well as do a show with him from time to time. #Longlivetheoldpawnandco

The vibes there are incredible, no matter the set time you get you can always play a set chock full of wicked tunes that the crowd and the bar stuffing will be rocking to. Places like this are a DJs best friend, as you can really experiment with progression and your own sound

11.01.2022 As 2018 comes to a close its important to reflect on all the positives & negetives that shape our journey, as well as celebrating the people in your life that support you. 2018 has been a roller coaster for me personally, i battled a great many demons in my mind and was also surrounded by the most incredible support network consisting of Family, Friends & people in the industry. Im thankful for the people who had my back and for the lessons Ive learnt, Id me remiss if i d...idnt acknowledge how my musical style had evolved as well. Ive always had a love for the melodic & emotional side of house music, in the past few months however that love has blended in with my sets and i have now opted to play more (for lack of better words) emotional/romantic styles of House & Techno. Id also be remiss if i didnt acknowledge the frailty of our minds sometimes when we go through atrocious times, its important for us to have each others backs and to constantly support the scene we all love. 10.01.2022 There are a lot of tracks in my opinion that are heavily under-appreciated given the complexity within the tune, whether it be synths or the vocals. When I say underappreciated I mean that in the context that yes its a killer track but keep peeling it back to the skin & bones of the tune and it is even more beautiful than first realized. 07.01.2022 My taste in music has always revolved around beautiful melodies & tracks with incredible depth, always chasing that euphoric feeling with a chunky bassline to back it up. Losing my mum a few years ago definitely solidified this, i love so many artists Local & International and all the amazing music coming out every week! The reason Ive made this post is to showcase a tune in my opinion has incredible depth and ticks all of the boxes of what i love in a track, these boys are ...killing the game and it makes me so proud of the potential for our local talent.
