25.01.2022 This year Australia Day falls on a Saturday, so Monday 28 January has been substituted as the public holiday. Normal Saturday rates apply to anyone working on t...he 26th. Public holiday rules apply to work on the Monday. https://www.fairwork.gov.au/leave/public-holidays

20.01.2022 The TPAR (Taxable Payments Annual Report) has been expanded to include cleaning and courier services from July 2018. If you are in these industries you will need to report payments to contractors.

20.01.2022 Have you heard? Single Touch Payroll is now compulsory for all Australian employers from 1st July 2019. This means employers need to report to the ATO every time they pay their employees. If you already use Xero then you are covered! If not you need to ensure you are compliant by the 1st July.
