25.01.2022 I honestly thought that the rain was never going to go away. Reclaimed fence palings converted into 3 crates on wheels to go under Grace's bed for all of her "treasures".

25.01.2022 Wooden Venetian blinds from the dump + cut offs from the discard bin at Mitre 10 = tray

25.01.2022 My client needs a mirror for her bookcase. Steamer from Vinnies for $2.00 should do it.

25.01.2022 We have some small ones left and will be bringing three to the Coconut Carnival to show everyone what we did. Happy to paint stools to order $30 each

23.01.2022 A big bookcase needing help

21.01.2022 New bed, all other furniture reclaimed, scrubbed up, sanded back, mirror from a ceiling rose and greenery from the garden.

21.01.2022 That should do it.

20.01.2022 At last, unveiling of the beautiful 1870's tin miner's trolley from Herberton. Glass topped and in situ in a lovely home where it will be loved for many years to come.

20.01.2022 Moved in and works a treat.

18.01.2022 Reclaimed ceder blinds from dump buy back shop placed in recess of bookcase to create VJ's.

18.01.2022 Thankyou end of year present for our golf mad teacher. Thankyou Mr Ryan! Golf clubs from lifeline, drift rope from beach, timber, plumbers saddles from buy back dump shop.

17.01.2022 Ok, so the school holidays are over, Christmas done, sick child out of hospital............... Time to open the shed door to start another creative year!

16.01.2022 This sweet little cabinet was tossed from an old dental clinic cleanout. Wasn't sure about giving it a paint job, as I loved the raw timber, but am loving these colours.

16.01.2022 Been a long time since posting....... too much wet weather, sick child, derusting the metal beams on the deck and house painting... needed some me time with my projects! Another picture frame and reject wood from the discard bin at Mitre 10.

16.01.2022 Updating a girls room.

14.01.2022 Last two of these! Ella's Christmas is moving like hot cakes!

14.01.2022 Cedar venetian blinds from the recycled yard. Chopped, sanded to bring out the lovely cedar scent, and chalk paint to create reusable present / label tags. Either use as a gift idea or start your family tradition of using recycled tags for your presents each year.

13.01.2022 Bookcase painted. Now to fill it!

13.01.2022 My mirror in Handmade Cans

13.01.2022 It's hard to concentrate on my woodwork with an audience!

11.01.2022 Mirror created from $2.00 bamboo steamer from Vinnies ready to go. New addittion for the make over bookcase commissioned by client.

11.01.2022 Not Rescued and Recycled, but Ella's Pretty Things, aged 10! Packets of pretty foil coloured stars on recycled pegs to hold your Christmas cards. On sale now at Handmade Cans.

10.01.2022 Thankyou Oasis Magazine Head off to Handmade Cans to buy some recycled, upcycled and home made gifts to give out this Christmas.

08.01.2022 A piece of timber at the salvage yard $5 and some legs (actually really don't know what they are) from another yard that I have had in the shed for years.

08.01.2022 I need a tray to hold my shells. These pieces of pretty blue timber are from a pulled apart trellis.

07.01.2022 Bedroom in need of a makeover.

07.01.2022 Our crusty rusty, corroded wall lights - 14 of them, had to go. It took me months to find the brackets, find shades to fit, make up the lamp holders, get the brackets and shades industrially powder coated to inhibit the rust, and get them up. Loving them.

06.01.2022 My laundry needs a stool. More storage in a very small space required.

06.01.2022 In 24 hrs, "Ella's Pretty Things" of Christmas stars on recycled pegs with hemp string have sold out!!!! The box is bare. Guess Ella is going to have to turn into Cinderella and work her fingers to the bone to make some more!! Hang on Handmade Cans, they are on their way........

05.01.2022 A Thank-you present to the teacher who looked after Ella when she was sick on her school trip to Tasmania. Again, all pieces from the scrap heap.

04.01.2022 The bamboo frame for this mirror came from a broken round cane table. Going to a lovely home in the Daintree.

03.01.2022 One FB ignorant person: I thought that I was posting some of my photos into my photo album, but have put them into FB. Sorry guys!!

02.01.2022 I am sure that everything will get rearranged many times, but some books (minus 26 bags of books off to Vinnies) have made it back to the shelves.

01.01.2022 And not to mention upcycling 34 art room stools for our school class to sell at our carnival this weekend.

01.01.2022 At long last, I have done something for me. New hanging shades for the kitchen to replace the horrible metal strip of sometimes working bulbs.
