06.01.2022 The Rescue Station is pleased to host Qigong with Nicole Lee. Please see message from Nicole Expressions of Interest!! I've been thinking about this for a while... keen to find out if there's community interest. Let me know in the comments or PM me. ... This offering would be a 4 week series, on Thursday's at Rescue Station Arts at 12:30pm during May 2021. Qigong is a gentle and restorative exercise therapy, incorporating acupressure, stretching, flowing rhythmic movement and stillness. The purpose of the practice is to release stress and tension stored in the body so that life force energy can flow more freely. This purpose connects directly with the core principle of Classical Oriental Medicine and achieving ultimate health and longevity. Now more than ever its essential we prioritise our health and wellbeing. Take action for yourself! Movement is essential to health. Suitable for all levels of fitness and mobility, beginners welcome. No mat work on the floor like in yoga, most of the practice is standing and can also be done sitting. If you'd like to know more or have questions please message me or email [email protected], you can also find out more about Qigong at my website Nicole Lee Qigong.
