05.01.2022 We'll never complain about flossing again! The whale shark is the world's largest living fish. Growing to an average length of 12 metres, their mouth is 1.5 m...etres wide and home to 300 rows of teeth. Sounds right out of a horror movie, no? Not to worry, these gentle giants are filter feeders, eating krill, crab, fish larvae and small fish. They can live up to 100 years in tropical waters and in Australiaare known to live primarily in north-western Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland. There are also scattered populations in New South Wales, Victoria and the Great Australian Bight. @jakeoxphotography via @wilderness_aus on Instagram.
