16.01.2022 HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!!! Thank you teachers for all of your wonderful work especially this year! If we didn’t know it before, we certainly know it now! The work of a teacher is so important not only to the students we teach but also to the entire community. Never have we felt so responsible for upholding a community, giving a shoulder to lean on, protecting the health and wellbeing of students and their families, as well as delivering a tailor made, individualised learning p...rogram for each and every student. As a Principal, I have had nothing but admiration for our teachers who have literally worked around the clock since the first day of term 1 2020. Their moral purpose remains strong and keeps them focused in times of fatigue. They adapt and change to suit the ever changing waves of Covid-19 and climb a steep learning curve day in and day out. Despite their own feelings of anxiety and concern, they never waver. They tell everyone that we are going to be ok and we listen! In challenging times we turn to those who we trust most, and schools are exactly that for so many families right now. What a privilege to see these highly skilled people making such an incredible contribution to the bigger picture. Ms Vale See more

14.01.2022 HAPPY HANDOVER DAY! You should all be so very proud of what we have achieved together. Many of you have been campaigning for this for years and finally, the hard work has actually paid off. The building looks incredible and in all honesty, I am pinching myself. It doesn’t feel real! I am SO disappointed that we will have to wait before we can have a grand opening. I am also so disappointed that you cannot come in for a sticky nose just yet.but I promise you that we will mak...e up for lost time next year and give it the celebration that Research Primary deserves. What happens next? This weekend, the old admin and arts will be moved to the new admin and arts. The office staff and Principals will be operating mostly from their new area on Monday, however, we will need to pop back and forth as we are not having children in the new area just yet. On Monday, some.but not all, of our furniture is being delivered. We will try and have the least amount of disruption to our students, however, something tells me that they are going to be pretty excited about it all! The following weekend (14th November), the classrooms will move. The old library will be emptied out for demolition, and some classes from the BER moved. We will then shift our students over to their new classrooms between Monday 16th and Wednesday 18th. Then it is official..we will be operating from the new area! WOW! On the 19th of November, stage 2 begins! Can you believe that there is more to come?! Have a great weekend with your favourite people. 14.01.2022 Thankyou Bunnings Eltham for the donation of a bag of goodies and a tray of plants. This will go towards making our new grounds bloom.

08.01.2022 Years 2 - 6 are glad to be back. We're so happy to have all our beautiful students from Prep to 6 back at school and smiling.

01.01.2022 Today our wonderful year 6 leaders led the Remembrance Day minute of silence from the brand new Research Primary School Reception! Following that, they were able to get the very first private tour of our new build and they were ecstatic. We cannot wait to have you all in to see our beautiful new school.
