Bren first joined us as Coach in our women's inaugural season in 2019 and has become an integral part of our network. He is a dedicated, humble coach and we are very lucky to have him lead our women's footballers. Bren is a champion club-man and a exemplary member of the Mustang family. Thanks for your loyalty and commitment mate! Bring on 2021. Still In Motion's Sports Photography - Steve McNeil

17.01.2022 Reservoir Sporting Club is pleased to announce the following appointments. Prior to the cancellation of the 2020 season our Reserves were being coached by Adam Smith. During the pre season Adam presented the capabilities he was hired for out on the field remarkably and as such impressed senior coach Jason Hamilton enough to elevate him to his right hand man. We are looking forward to what the pair can offer as Adam steps up into the Senior Assistant role for our 2021 season. ...Congratulations Adam. Jason was also happy with new recruit and member Ryan Roberts in his first, all be it short, appointment as a playing assistant in 2020. While his time was limited by the seasons cancellation he showed enough promise and growth that Jason has reappointed Ryan to the same role for 2021. Ryan’s fit within The Stable is very natural and his experience on the playing field will help build a solid foundation in his coaching aspirations. The club is very excited by Jason’s appointment of Benjamin 'Lefty' Mowlam to his first senior playing assistant position at Reservoir SC. Lefty has been a Mustang for the majority of his senior career and is a piece of the furniture down at the Stable. His on field presence and the respect he holds by both team mate and opponent will be a massive attribute to his coaching ability. We are super keen to see how his playing experience and footy knowledge guides him in his first appointment as an assistant coach. And finally Jason, Adam and the executive committee are pleased to retain the quality football services of Daryl Delos as he continues in his role as Development Coach. Daryl has playing and coaching experience from all aspects of footy and will support the coaches well with the development of our players. We wish all our newly appointed senior coaches the very best of luck for season 2021.

17.01.2022 Reservoir Sporting Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Senior Coach Jason Hamilton for a further season, leading the Mustangs through to 2022. ""I had no hesitation in signing long term with a great core of players at the club. With the committee pushing hard on and off the field to be successful and a lot of young players on our list, there is so much potential moving forward and l am excited to be a part of it. My goal over the next 2 years is to play good, co...nsistent footy, make a massive improvement on the field and build the foundations that lead to finals footy. I am looking forward to being a long term coach and member of this great club and very excited about the future of the Mustangs." - Jason Hamilton, Senior Coach. "As a club we are looking for stability and we have seen that in Jason's preparation before the Covid situation, during the shutdown and as we plan with moving forward. We find ourselves in a good position leading into 2021 and as a committee are extremely happy to have Hammer signing on to the end of 2022. Very exciting times ahead for us so get on board, join us at the Stable and GO MUSTANGS!" - Luke Bryant, President.

16.01.2022 This weekend is the Pat Cronin Foundation Round. The Pat Cronin Foundation was formed in 2016 following the senseless coward punch death of 19-year-old Pat Cronin when he was out for a quiet night with friends. Pat was an emerging senior player with great potential at the Lower Plenty Football Club after playing 129 games of junior football at the Research Junior Football Club. Pat was courageous, respectful and fair in the way he played football. This weekend marks the fifth... Pat Cronin Foundation Round in the NFNL and an important initiative to raising awareness for ending the 'coward punch'. #BeWisePC12 #endthecowardpunch SPECTATORS ARE BACK! Get around the Mustangs this weekend as the boys head over to Eltham and the ladies trek up to Mernda.

15.01.2022 Wishing all our Mustang Mums a wonderful day today.

12.01.2022 The first round after grading has us facing off against LaTrobe and Lalor in a couple of late games out at Mernda Primary School. Get around our netballers in their first match ups as graded teams in Sections 9 (Res 1) & 12 (Res 2). #gofillies! - with thanks to Preston Family Medical

07.01.2022 Reservoir Sporting Club are happy to introduce Petar Pavlovic to the Mustang family! Pete played his whole junior career at Avondale Heights FC, right up to under 18s then joined the Northern Saints for a couple of years. He comes across to us from Braybrook where he played the last 2 seasons. He is a hard nosed midfielder who is an in and under player with a very good skill set. He is one of those players you love having on your time. He has great leadership skills which will help our young side improve moving into 2020. Committing to the Mustangs for 2 seasons, please welcome Petar! #backtobusiness2020

01.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone. We have just been informed that the NFNL have today decided that the 2020 senior, men's and women's, football competition is cancelled. The league remains committed to conducting junior football and senior netball competitions in 2020. The league believes that the cancellation of the season is the ONLY VIABLE decision that will ensure the long-term sustainability of clubs and the league. We are sure that there will be many disappointed players and mem...bers but please be reassured that this is the best possible outcome for OUR club for the immediate future and moving forward for a very healthy and strong start to a promising 2021 season. We are happy to answer any questions and encourage open discussion. Please stay tuned for further information regarding planning for the remainder of the year and the lead up to 2021. #unitedweremain #biggerbetterstronger #mustangs See more
