I will be able to sort future bookings out and weddings are still confirmed. Unfortunate events have happened that have left me with no option but to retire running my business. 22.01.2022 SKIN CARE TIPS to help fight the harsh effects of WINTER! * Appropriate SKIN CARE - skin needs maximum attention during the winter months, so review your products and ask yourself if you feel hydrated. If your skin feels tight, itchy or red, it may be time to chat to your therapist about introducing something more nourishing during the winter months. * EXFOLIATE - It is important to gently exfoliate the skin on our face and body 2-3 x per week. This will alleviate any rough, ...thick, built up, itchy skin and allow for better product penetration/ absorption. *DRINK WATER - Your skin and body needs water more than ever during winter! Heating systems and the cold winds quickly strip our skin of natural water content. If you struggle to keep up your water intake, try drinking herbal tea or hot water and lemon. Stay hydrated! * NO HOT SHOWERS/BATHS!! - I know it's hard but try to keep water temp lukewarm. Hot water is extremely dehydrating for the skin and will leave you super itchy. Try adding a drop of coconut (scoop in this weather) or grapeseed oil to the bath. * EAT OMEGA RICH FOOD! Eat omega 3 foods eg, Salmon to help support healthy skin. Rosehip and Primrose oil as supplementation also help. * COCONUT SCALP TREATMENT- I just love Coconut oil, if you suffer from dandruff or dry itchy scalp, melt a Tblsp of coconut oil and massage into scalp and hair once damp after a shampoo.
