11.01.2022 Welcome - Well this Welcome isn't a traditional welcome as many already recognize Sharon. Seeing her in many of the evening Group Classes, she is a familiar face. We would to recognize her as the newest PT MOVER. Shifting from Group Outdoor Training to 1to1 Personal Training with Skye. - Even though Shaz thoroughly enjoys her Group classes, her focus to achieve her goals changed. A hurdle she often climbs is joint pain in her knees. Not able to put weight on them, move ...to low stances and other restrictions make it challenging inside of Group Outdoor classes. In her words "Feels like she is holding people back in classes as she can't do all the exercises" - Shaz has been managing really well with her knees and built strength in them to put some pressure on them, begin jogging and her squat technique really improved, unfortunately pain had creeped in and needing to head down the line of surgery. Taking the option to change over to Personal Training is giving her the focus in exercise programming to help her build strength back in her knees at her pace. Looking forward to return to Group Classes soon enough, she is still making appearances at Coffee Clubs and other social events. - We are proud to share Shaz as the latest PT MOVER. Her growth in the sessions with Trainer Skye is really positive and feeling stronger around her knees already. Keep striving for a more "moveable" body Shaz, we look forward to following your journey. - Please join us in welcoming her as a PT MOVERS inside the Reside tribe #welcome #PTMOVER #personaltrainer #MOVERS #activebassendean #resideinmovement

04.01.2022 The benefits of exercise are vast. Our bodies feel better for it. Our mental health and well-being are lifted because of exercising. We are able to move much easier. These are wonderful attributes exercise brings us. At the same time, our body is placed on a demand whilst we do a workout. At certain times, there are going to be aches and pains which appear. These soreness’s are natural when it comes to exercise because we are pushing past what we normally find comfortable. When approaching these soreness’s, try not to be frightened and rule out exercise as it is ‘bad’ for your body. Rather take a step back to understand what is an ache and what is a pain. See whole article here; https://resideinmovement.com.au/are-these-aches-pains-norm/

03.01.2022 Lowering ourselves to this height is only going to take our movement patterns so far and keep our results the same. Take this example, would you put only a quarter of a tank of petrol in your car and expect to reach the same destination as a full tank of fuel? Training ourselves to only half the height of a squat will produce only half the results of that of a deep squat. Read other articles at the Reside blog https://ed.gr/c08hg
