After a few months travelling the United States mine would have to be a zip lock bag of lovingly collected paint chips from the Cadillac Ranch on Route 66. 19.04.2022 After a few months of traipsing round the United States on a road trip adventure of a lifetime I am back with a head bursting with new projects new ideas and even new tools. While some gals might come back with a suitcase full of fancy shoes (ok I admit I did buy some) this gal was super excited by a few new tools and products that I haven’t yet seen in Australia. One tool in particular was being demonstrated at the New York State Fair and will result in experiments for a com...pletely new jewellery range being created from recycled ceramic and glass. It’s good to escape your bubble and check out art and products elsewhere - it’s always amazing and inspiring to see what other people create. I am excited to be home - and excited to start creating,

26.03.2022 This is the mammoth piece I’ve been working on for the past week - 1.2m high sparkling glittery mass of resin geode designed for the Clermont Gold and Coal Festival. This will be on display at the Clermont Show this week (in the fine arts section of the pavilion) and will be seen around town where we will be selling tickets for our Gold and Coal Raffles. This piece feature local Clermont coal as well as generous quantities of black, gold and clear coloured mirrored glass fragments to reflect the light. Clermont Gold and Coal Festival is celebrating its 20th year on 16 and 17 August.
