12.01.2022 October, Australia’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, provides an opportunity for us all to focus on breast cancer and its impact on those affected by the disease... in our community. Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among Australian women (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer). Survival rates continue to improve in Australia with 89 out of every 100 women diagnosed with invasive breast cancer now surviving five or more years beyond diagnosis. Take the time this month to find out what you need to know about breast awareness and share this important information with your family, friends and colleagues. 07.01.2022 Unfortunately the 5km fun run event we've been training for, scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed until 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions. While our team at Resolve Health are disappointed (& some slightly relieved ), we've had a great time training in beautiful locations, motivating eachother, and raising hundreds of $$ which we have donated to the Cancer Council (some photos of our training runs attached including the Logan Village Rail Trail) . Thank you to everyone who has supported us and completed the Couch to 5km training program with us. Thank you to our Exercise Physiologist Keegan for the running program and expert advice. It's been a challenging year and we couldn't have done it without this fantastic team of people and the support of our wonderful clients. 05.01.2022 We are so excited to welcome an additional podiatrist - Mr Labique Abro - to our team at Resolve Health. Labique and Charmaine will look after all your foot care needs! Labique graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from QUT. Since his graduation he has worked in a private practice in Brisbane and Central Queensland. Labique also has a degree in Biomedical Science (Anatomical Sciences) which extends his knowledge on the anatomy of the human body. He has had exposure to all aspects of podiatry from toenail care, sports injury management, paediatric podiatry and diabetic foot management. Labique strives to deliver the best patient centred care by building rapport and providing the most up to date knowledge regarding podiatric conditions.
