25.01.2022 Just a small snapshot of the songs our guitar, piano and singing students have been working on in the last few weeks. Our contemporary approach to music allows students to learn songs from popular artists, yet still embed with technical and theoretical understanding. If you were to learn an instrument, what song would you pick?

23.01.2022 Introducing officially (and finally) our new name!!! Resound Music Academy A fresh mix of elements from our old names Re:sound Music Studio and Highlands Music Academy. Where old meets new, with the same heart and vision we started with -- to launch musicians toward their dreams & equip them to create real, achievable outcomes. ... Excited to share all the nexts parts of this journey with you!

19.01.2022 Highlands has housed our music lessons for a number of years. First in a small room with just a handful of beginner singing & piano students a week, to now as we teach over 50 students of all ages, levels and instruments across the campus. So even though we are changing our name from Highlands Music Academy we will still be calling Highlands home for sometime yet!

16.01.2022 Looking back, looking forward. We’ve had a few name changes over the years but we’ve always been about equipping people to confidently step out and do whatever they’ve dreamed of! Whether that be learning a skill, performing in front of people, auditioning for a show, busking on the streets, playing in church, writing and recording a song, making a career out of it... or just doing it for the joy because they always wanted to growing up!... That’s what makes this journey all worth it!

10.01.2022 Student Cover This is Josh! He's a singer, musician and worship leader from Bundaberg, QLD who started online voice lessons with us a year ago. ... While we always work the technical and functional aspects of the voice, it's important students get down with the "real stuff" - singing for friends or family, joining a band, busking, or in this case, recording a cover (and the list goes on!) We value being able to equip students in creating real-world outcomes such as these to help them learn on the ground, not just in the room. On that note, you'll be seeing more from our students in the coming weeks!
